Fahrenheit 451 (one of the very first movies I've ever seen, scary as hell for about 5 years old who just started his adventure with books)
Harrison Bergeron (so terrifying real)
Repo Men (not bad, not bad at all)
The Road (I think the title says everything)
The Rover (brings back faith in acting, last year's biggest surprise for me)
One Point O (absolutely brilliant, loving it)

and I think Battle Royale could be added as well
not sure about Freejack
and Prayers of the Rollerboys, I watched them more than twenty years ago and could change my mind yet.

The Road is probably the most depressing movie I have ever seen. In fact, I found it to depressing to see the whole thing. I could feel myself dying inside a little. I was watching it when I was writing an article about post-apocalypse in movies, so I have watched a ton of such films around then, going all the way back to the 50s, and I guess it was starting to get to me, and The Road was just too much.

Very true. I'm still not sure however, if Threads or The Road was more depressing and I don't think I'm going to find it out. You could give Cormac McCarthy's book a try, which should be mandatory if you ask me..

I come in here to hang out, shoot the shit, talk games, get help for games, and tell a dirty joke or two. There are others that come in explicitly to be a pain in the ass. I'm not saying all my behavior is noble or even "acceptable" but don't dare lump me in with the assholes who sole reason for logging in is to bully other users.

Haven't seen The Rock, so can't compare there, but it makes Interstellar look like Star Wars. And I loved Interstellar. (I loved this one too, I just didn't understand it.)

Up to this point I read this thread with interest. Each side posted their point of views and it is very clear to see that you will not come to an agreement.

What I do not like is the attitude of several posters. It is not what you say, it is how you say it. I do understand that pointing out the same statement over and over again is tedious, but we occasional visitors of this board might still miss your threads and to be welcomed with obviously very annoyed replies is not encouraging. The title of this thread is still acceptable though (imho).

If your conversationalists do not share your opinion it doesn't make sense to repeat the same statements over and over again to finally be in the right. Sometimes one has to accept that others do not share one's opinion. And beeing downvoted doesn't necessarily mean that you've been punished for not having the correct opinion. Don't forget the invisible crowd who is reading more than posting. This might be their way to express their point of view. - Just a possibility... I didn't downrep anyone here.

So, please, all of you. Keep your voice low and respect each other.

I do get the point about warning newcomers. And I think that it is clear for all of us that this won't stop code dropping at all. It will still happen, but if some users, who aren't aware of what is currently happening on this board, will be warned it serves the purpose.

And what exactly i my behavior? I made a post explaining why dropping codes is a bad idea, and why there is no reason to keep doin it. Pooka ignored it, and just called me out along with everyone else with insults and general nonsense. That's it. Also, I have not downvoted him. Also, I do not consider him, or you, or anyone "an enemy".

I have no idea why this ridiculous defense of code dropping is going on, even less so why the chosen weapon of this defense is trying to pretend that the people asking to stop are acting in some offensive way, when it's the other way around.

Honestly, I'm pretty much tired of it. And I have better things to do, then keep trying to make a reasonable and simple point in defence of the forum and getting insulted for it. So congratulations, I guess you "win". Remember to high five nes and his alt accounts.
