DRM has quite a negative value.

Online services have an extreme negative value. They're less than worthless.

And no, I don't really feel limited. Only from trash AAA, and other unfun junk (MMO, F2P, "engagement"...), really. The overwhelming majority of products, even today, are not in that family.

I don't play games with DRM either, but seems a bit extreme to me to deny they're pc games.
Anyway, as to the main topic, I don't think I would buy anything from Beamdog, they come across like con men with their dubious "remasters" which have led to the removal of original (and cheaper) versions from stores.

iirc you can play single-player Starcraft 2 offline though, you just don't get any "achievements". So unless my memory is playing tricks on me, you don't have to be online all the time.
But I think I mostly agree with you, I have no interest anymore in buying DRMed games from big publishers either.

well if it is an mmo or these pvp games then always online is fine

still able to play offline no issues, tho it require some maps for download unless u disc, i just tested it out to remember it all, it's been years

Perhaps they added offline play to Starcraft 2 at some point. It certainly released as a 100% online only product, even for single player. Still not interested in the DRM and funnel-to-online infestation.

I am going to start my S***list with Ubisoft.

I gave Starcraft 2 the back without hesitation due the always online crap.

OP - Kind of: the wishlist's gates.
Something important sh*tty devs/pubs often overlook is the cost of getting our attention. Once they scr*w that, they need a huge invest to get themselves out from oblivion. Also their ,,smart minds,, frequently forget their sh*t stinks & sooner or later it floats.
So: Why to dare to try to dumb us?

Not really. The companies I would behold to such a standard haven't made a product I'd be interested in the first place.

The D2 widescreen mod is bugged as fuck though, not to mention that you won't be able to play MP with it. And you won't get the redone 4k graphics.

Well, I don't buy DRM-ed products. So Rockstar and others like them are out. Apart from that only Larian is on my naughty list for the way they treated their customers in Divinity 2 Ego Draconis. The ending was just one big "f* you for playing our game!" message to the players.

I am not into "Blacklisting" anyone. However Its been more than a year since I bought a game on Steam. I have a library of 1000+ games there. I am favoring GOG these days because of their DRM practices and mainly because of the installers that I passionately archive on one of my 10TB Disks.

I also tend to stay away from MMO's and Multiplayer.

I am a single player guy :P - just pls don't tell my wife .
