Hello I'm new here... and I notice how in this store there are like none or few games MMO.
I think some games like this would be cool to see on this store ...
But it is a cool idea? O a bad one ?
Thanks for your time.

Examples?

Keep in mind that a traditional MMORPG like Asheron's Call, Everquest, or WoW require an online account to play, which may not work well with the concept of DRM-free.

If you mean, for instance, a user-hostable FPS like BF1942 or others, then sure, that would be cool - so long as there is no DRM involved.

Edit: spelling.

Good luck persuading companies to license out server software.

Well, that's more MO than MMO though.
I'd rather MMOs didn't come here. It's there's one thing worse in modern gaming than DRM, it's microtransactions.

Also, from a general consensus on the forum, quite a few GOGer's aren't big on MMO's anyways. Might have something to do with irate nutcases telling others to have sex with certain family members or getting accused of hacking or something ;)
I'm hard pressed to think of something that we need less than "more MMO games". I guess japanese porn and transformers movies...

How about mobile games? :)

I guess so. I'm having a tough time thinking of large-scale online games that are NOT RPGs like those mentioned, so I'm kinda lumping those others in the MMO group. (Maybe there are plenty of examples; I simply don't know of any since online isn't really on my radar these days)
Wouldn't mind seeing Elite: Dangerous here, with the option for offline only play. A lot of popular MMOs are shit though.
Who cares about MMOs
Sure. Why not? Would love to see games like AirMech here.

I appreciate DRM-free gaming, but that doesn't really apply to MMORPGs - of course there will be DRM, of course the game witll die with its community, of course it requires you to be logged in at all times. That all comes with the territory of an online game. So if they manage to get Galaxy integration, and also fix Galaxy's issues, then I'd be interested in the possibility. But only for the GOG wallet and achievement integration.
If GOG want to expand its userbase then I think more multiplayer games is needed because still a lot of people see GOG as the place to get old games only. Pretty much all AAA games has a multiplayer component and if GOG wants those games here then they need to offer a really good service for the devs, not sure how that will go with the DRM-Free idea though.

Unless I'm mistaken the Gwent game already has microtransactions so I assume more games with that will come here.

poorcoupamar1982: it would be really nice to see some mmorpgs on gog.. this is the only thing that is missing
Agreed, as long as it's free or free-to-play.
