Apparently consumption of dog meat is also allowed in Switzerland (bad news for that stupid dog from Fallout 1):

As with cats only commercial selling of dog meat is prohibited, but you can breed and slaughter them for your own consumption.
Apparently there's no reliable data though how widespread this still is.

I can't imagine this is widespread though as a commercial enterprise.
Seems more like rural people who are into autarcy carrying on old traditions which may seem strange now but once were more widespread.

The video is from "Faces of Death" of which I own a copy, and OF COURSE IT'S FAKE! :P The whole "Faces of Death" movie is fake!

I know I am about as low as it gets in here, but do you really think I'd post a real video of something like that? :P Give me a little credit here Lin. XD

BTW, for those interested, the monkey's head is paper-mache and the brains are a combination of cherry Jell-O and raw cauliflower. As far as I know it was filmed in the director's basement, which is the same house the loft was located where they filmed the bogus execution for the same movie.
