Namida.Pip: edit: but I think the most important part of it is that I get to choose where I live actually thinking of where I want to live,
Yup. This is the best part.
You don't have to go for a holidays for 2 weeks and try and to see as much as possible in those 2 weeks while staying at a hotel, because you only get 20 days off a year. Instead, you can go there for 3 months, rent a place short-term, and visit stuff at your leisure while working. 3 months over? No problem if you like it, you can stay longer.
Probably will be different if/when I start a family, but even then the flexibility of where and when you work is the best part.
Namida.Pip: I get to do what I love and would be doing anyways, get paid very well for it,
