https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denuvo has a list of the games that currently have Denuvo, or are suspected to have it at launch. Of course it's mainly the shitty publishers who carry it (Ubisoft, EA, Squenix etc..).

In my mind, if the developers & / or publishers gave a damn, then they'd release playable demos of the final product (as we used to have in the good old days) to see if (A) the game will run on the system (B) to see exactly how shit it is, then this would cut off the "Casual" piracy. Lets face it, there have been so many poor releases that there is no trust from the consumers to spend £30 / $30+ on a game which is one of the reasons why people 'Pirate' in the first place.

Well said! Paying 50-60€ about games, which is bugged and incomplete is totally waste of money.

Again i started to remember Neverwinter Night 2 and Heroes of might and magic 5, which cost me 50 €, when released long time ago. Those games was badly incomplete, during that time. It wasn´t fun, when game stopper bug appeared or other sad things happen. That´s why, I want buy games at a low price.
Something seems dodgy with DOOM demo on steam, although that could just be steam.
Tried the demo, now that Denuvo is removed from the game, but the demo wouldn't start without access to internet.

Gede: Who is this Laptop65 user? This is not an official stance. because he does not know details and is too general on his answers.
I think this is quite a poor FAQ. Here are some examples:

A: As far as spying goes – someone would have noticed by now if Denuvo was poking around with files on your PC or uploading odd amounts of information up the Internet

Q: I have heard rumours about Denuvo spying on your PC files (...)

I'm not saying the spying is true, I'm saying his negation of it is not valid.

"DRM (Digital Rights Management) is software that is meant to manage your online content and allow you to access and manage your games and make sure you are given access to a new game when you purchase it and so on."

So is Galaxy. Is Galaxy DRM, or a store front-end?
He then adds:

"It should be noted that there is a limit of being able to install the game more than 5 times in a 24 hour period."

So, Denuvo is not DRM, just an anti-tampering system. Right.

As for The Witcher 3, the author says twice that it "has still been pirated into oblivion". What does he mean with it?

Has it failed to be a commercial success? No. "Indeed it has sold well"
Was it a bad game? No. "great game"
Was it ignored, unrecognised or failed to leave its mark? No. "has won many awards", "won a few hundred awards"
Maybe it failed with the public? No. "the developer / publisher has captured the hearts of millions of gamers with respect,"

What else could you ask of a game? How could Denuvo make The Witcher 3 better? How was it "pirated into oblivion"?

DRM seems to be here to stay, I get that. But let us speak honestly and candidly about it. Don't blow smoke to our faces.
A crazy pedo, who loves Denuvo and is a mod for various Warner Bros. games over at Steam.

SidAlpha explains it better and more details, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FyQh-QzRRo

Emob78: I heard Mad Max has Denuvo, but other ppl said they removed it. So which is it?
avatar
RayRay13000: As far as I know these are the only games that had Denuvo removed:

-DOOM
-Inside
-The Climb

When looking around I'm not seeing anything about Denuvo being officially removed from the game, and the FAQ the OP linked was recently added to that Steam Mad Max forum. It's cracked from what I found, but that's it.
syberia 3 had it removed. and then was put here! :)
well there's a curator tracking games with the "anti-tamper"

http://store.steampowered.com/curator/26095454-Denuvo-Games/

very few titles have this anti-consumer "shit" removed. i have only one game with it (because i wan't aware of the existence of Denuvo & was coming alongside an NVidia card). Have plenty titles on Steam but i refuse this abonimation..one of the main issue you ain't sure if it has been properly implemented in a game...so it's a gamble >.>.

Oddly enough, his profile is private. Apparenty, he feels the need to hide everything. His fault I'm beginning to think he's another starry-eyed fanboy at this point.

To be fair, there's nothing odd about having a private profile. Steam's approach to privacy is all-or-nothing; if there's anything you don't feel like sharing then your only option is to hide everything.

Then again, to be fair, there's nothing personally identifying that you need to hide from the public on a general Steam profile. Most of the information can be obfuscated by the user anyway (e.g., where you're from, tagline, birthdate, etc.) So yes, it is odd to hide an ENTIRE profile. My profile's been public for years, and I don't see why I have to hide what games I own, who are my friends, when I've last been online, or what I last achieved.

In fact, I'm proud to show I've never logged into, or played a single of any of my Steam games since I jumped ship to GOG. Nor the fact that I plastered GOG on my Steam profile.

Sorry and thanks, I forgotten about the details. Since it's a long time since I last watch the vid when the info was STILL fresh.

timmy010: Has anyone seen this thread on steam:-

http [colon slash slash] steamcommunity [dot] com [slash] app [slash] 234140 [slash] discussions [slash] 0 [slash] 154644045356150979

i find it funny as to why the company has to defend denuvo to the bitter end and even insult the witcher 3's drm-free stance. i'm not saying i disagree with it (or agree with it) but the way it is written is...interesting.
Fuck Denuvo.

macuahuitlgog: Fuck Denuvo.
In the ass with a giant dildo covered in broken glass.
If you guys are also at Steam, here's this nice info curator you can join. Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/DenuvoGames
It keeps track of most of the games that have Denuvo anti-tamper in them, because some of these companies won't say, especially during the pre-order time period.
