mechmouse: I'm really hoping for a co-op multiplayer experience in a same vein as Dying Light.
There is a distinct lack of story driven co-op games.
I don't want some half arsed competitive multiplayer add on.
morolf: Haven't played Dying Light, but imo a co-op modus would only be possible if the protagonist you're playing as has a partner throughout the entire game (like the two characters in Divinity Original Sin), which would have a huge impact on gameplay. I haven't followed the news about Cyberpunkt that closely, but so far I haven't seen anything indicating this is the case.
So I don't really see how a multiplayer modus could be closely integrated with the main plot of the game.
Plot wise in DL you play the exact same person, there are key plot points where both players have to get to the sam elocation for the game to progress. And the first and last parts are single player.
Dead Island did it much better, as there are 4 protagonists, and while in single player you only play one, the other 3 turn up at key plot points.
I don't mind the two people playing 1 character, but for immersion it would have been nice to have actually been two characters.
