So, here is the 48 minutes (!!!) of gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjF9GgrY9c0

What can I say? I love this game already! Yes, I have some worries about car physics, but everything else - I LOVE THIS!!! Will preorder.
It looks incredible however I expected to see my character in more cutscenes, but overall looks very promising and fun. And the quests seem like the ones from the Witcher 3, long and interesting and with so many different outcomes!!
I want to preorder this game NOW!
The only thing that worries me is that it's first person and first person games usually make me motion sick unless they are grid based. But it looks so cool that I might just give it a try anyway.
Looks quite good overall. The (potentially negative) things I could come up with (for now I just watched the first trauma team mission):

1. Parts of the gameplay seemed quite scripted, Call of Duty style. Not sure what to think about that. Maybe that just is how most games are nowadays, dunno. I've seen the same development in e.g. single-player RTS games, more and more scripted events during missions.

2. Were they playing it with a gamepad? At least at some points it didn't feel like it was using mouseaim. I hope the game still supports mouseaim, considering it is in first person.

Anyway, I will probably preorder this, just like I did for The Witcher 3, unless I suddenly hear something quite negative like it would require always-online for single-player or somesuch, but I think CDPR already confirmed it will be fully DRM-free with good single-player experience. For that, CDPR and GOG deserve my money in full.

Considering it has so much shooting, I prefer it being first person. Ok, maybe Spec Ops: The Line kind of third-person would have been fine too, it is very close to first person anyway.

Looks fantastic, me likes it! I would pre-order this only if the game has co-op option.

I feel like I'm getting old, I really didn't like it. I wanted too but I think its too much an FPS Adventure game than an RPG.
NOT hating on it - just was hoping for something different.

Disliked:
- Weapons & Combat were kinda weak to me. Felt like a titanfall 2 ripoff at times.

- Driving around just seemed too much like GTA.

- Characters dialogues & vocies weren't that good.

- I didn't seem to care about the characters motive or backstory (there really wasn't any given).

- The music didn't stick with me(compared to the witcher 3, granted that was a masterpiece).

Liked:
- Multi-tiered events that are different depending on how you interact (before and after) with them.

- Crowded areas and outdoor scenes looked nice graphically.

It's a work in progress, I understand that - but for me I'll stick with buying the complete GOTY version 2-3 years after release in a sale. That sounds a bit harsh but before this I was going to build a $1,000~ computer just to play this game..

I hope its a good game, just not buying into the hype.

Overall i did like it and thing's like different outcome of choices, living and breathing city, enhancements that changes the way you play i really appreciate however i thought a lot of the dialogues between V and Jackie was hot garbage and tried too much to be edgy and as such it felt very forced and unnatural.

I assume it was scripted because it was a demo showcase what it will be in the game, which is understandable if you want to show majority of gameplay, because I really doubt we will get so many weapons in just first hour of the game.
Yes they were playing with a controller, every game is showcased with a controller for smoother transition and easier showing of scenery and details. But, it does make it look bad combat wise.

I really loved the scenery, city, music, atmosphere. The small showcase of dialogue really fits the Punk type of speech being a bit edgy, rough and mature. The driving looked better than I expected considering CD Projekt never did driving, I was afraid it will be clunky or close to Roach riding but with cars. The controller made it look smooth, I hope it will be good with keyboard and mouse.
This small demo showed so much compared to almost everything we saw this year on E3 and Gamescom. I can only hope it will improve since this is just work in progress and many stuff will change.

I guess it's age restriction for violent and mature content ? so just not every kid can automatically view it by clicking on the video i assume, it seems like a half assed measure to prevent young people to see it but i think that's why.

I was just wondering if this is a new feature or if I've clearly been missing out on all the good sfuff for a while ;)

No it's just rare but it's been like that for years.

Uhhhhh.... Okaaay then. I think I'll return to my cave.

;)
So I know I will be in the minority here, but the game looks like sh*t.

The characters are completely plastic. The have a Ken and Barbie sheen - and yeah I know they are cybernetic, but if the point is that you aren't supposed to be able to tell the difference between full flesh and cybernetic life then it is a complete fail. Also, no movement in anything. If you are going to make it a point to have nudity (and clearly nudity for nudity sake is a big push in this game) a breast really doesn't hold the same position like a rock. Also idiotic that the nudity was covered up in the character creation so that 2 minutes later full nudity in the game - although this could be the video poster doing that themselves, as I know in the game it won't be covered.

Secondly, as with every shooter, the gun mechanics are awful. An entire magazine to put an enemy down with an automatic pistol? Really? Everything is a bullet sponge, but the bullet destroyed the concrete pillar (3.22 in the video) blowing out a chunk of concrete, but a dozen rounds don't take down flesh? So stupid.

Thirdly, the perspective is idiotic. Typical FPS garbage. You walk around looking at the world waist high, 25 years of FPS games and nobody makes one where the perspective is from a person standing up. Look at how totally moronic and stupid the perspective of the game is in First-Person (which is anything but). Start at 7:37 and see that the player eye level is the elevator control panel and watch when what you are looking at as other characters enter the elevator (or lift for the UK folks) and watch as the camera pulls out to the proper perspective. This game badly needs to drop the first-person perspective

Also, earlier at the 4:15 mark, if I am shooting with the gun held up head high shooting through the window how the heck do you just jump through the window as though it is only 2 feet high. The First-person perspective in this game is total garbage. No thought or effort put into it at all.

But, hey, the game has lots of shooting and boobies so it must be awesome. No thanks, a little bit of effort put into gameplay would have been nice.
