Our these forums monitored at all by GOG customer support? It's been 4 days since last contact with a rep and I haven't heard anything back (even after an additional reply on my end).

Just curious to know if they are around here or if email is the only method they can be contacted.

Thanks.
They only have a small staff working over the weekend (though if you've been waiting four days already that shouldn't apply) so you're unlikely to get a reply at the weekend unless it's very urgent.

But if you find one of the staff accounts (their text is blue and they have GOG after their names) and PM them that can help. For support issues Firek or Judas are probably your best bet.
They may also be very busy because of the sale.

Oh I'm sorry, you must be new here. GOG only looks at the forums when they want positive customer feedback. Your customer service response time experience is completely normal. You will wait, and wait, and wait, then you will wait some more. If you have an actual problem and need a refund, you will not get one believe me. Other than that don't count on them having any actual answers other than "we are working on the problem". They will sell you a game with known bugs and leave you to your own devices. Don't believe the hype. When you buy from GOG you are risking the money you've spent every time. Just look at it this way and you'll feel much better. When you buy from GOG the games are sold as is condition and all sales are final. To be completely fair most of the time you will not have a problem, but when you do, don't go looking for help at GOG support. I own many games on GOG and have only had issues with 3 games. Every single time I contacted GOG they took forever and were ultimately no help whatsoever. I fixed 2 of them by myself and they finally fixed the problem with Outlaws earlier this year after I completed the game last year using a workaround that I discovered myself. Their support staff is also about as unprofessional as they come. If you take issue with that as I did, they get even more unprofessional.
I say we send in John Rambo to go get them out!

Refunds, or at least gift wraps do work. I accidentally redeemed the wrong code, but I didn't open the new game in my library at all, and the CS sent me a new code while removing the game from my library.

And they do have a 30 day refund policy but only for technical problems and game-breaking bugs so that one should work - it's sad that it didn't work you for you! Was your issue one of those?

I guess you don't remember oldsxcool. :P He started a thread about a year ago claiming GOG wasn't holding up their end of their return policy. As you know, GOG offers a refund only after they have exhausted all possible fixes. Well he feels this is bullshit. If they need to help him fix the game then they shouldn't have sold it to him in the first place and thus they are ripping him off.

The issue is the code bought at Gamestop doesn't work (already activated, apparently).

Between the two places (Gamestop and GOG) and I can't get a hold of anyone.

And of course I'm a bit more pissed at Gamestop as they don't tell you that you MUST have the base game with GOG for this DLC to actually work. Store employees had no idea, I had no idea (never even heard of GOG until this) and their website doesn't even warn you before buying.

So, suffice to say I'm a little salty that I haven't been able to play the DLC for over a week. Not that the compatibility issue is GOG's fault, but I'd at LEAST like the code to work.

That could be a little more tricky. Gamestop isn't an authorized seller of GOG codes. Someone will no doubt be in shortly who can help more than me, but I'm thinking your best bet right now is to try to get a refund from Gamestop.
A refund is so far very unlikely considering their policy is ZERO refunds on any DLC. From what I understand I could've tried for one 2 seconds after I paid and was handed the receipt with the code and it still wouldn't happen.

Complete nonsense. I have contacted them several times and GOG support has always been extremely nice and helpful.

That would explain why they don't mind selling bogus codes.

Under Account/Chat there is a undeletable GOG team chat session.
Have you tried that chat session?
