Not sure if I played the GBC version but the original GB one isn't great. It's a very cut down Harvet Moon and lacks a lot of the features of the main games. You don't have any real story or social interaction, no befriending townspeople or finding wives. If all you want is a crop planting and animal care sim it's ok but I'd get a different version if you're looking for a proper Harvest Moon experience.
Good [insert here random time of day], anyone...
I hope you feel great and your day (or night) is great too...

Hey Owl. :P How are you?

They tore down half the street and now I wake up to the sounds of construction every morning ... Not too pleased about that, especially since I imagine it'll take quite a while for the work to be finished.

I'm good. :) Yeah, the sleep's fine, it's just the noise that gets on my nerves when I have to study. Still, I hope it gets better once they finish laying the foundations and all that. No clue what they're building, either, but I imagine it's more houses to replace the ones they tore down. :P

That sounds quite logical... ^^
Where do you live exactly ? if I may ask... :)

In Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands. Apart from Leeuwarden, it's pretty much the only large city in the north of the country, and it's pretty much the center of civilization around here. The city also has the only university in the north of the country - the nearest other university is in Germany. :P

I just did a search on Google and it looks like they're building more student flats ... I'm not too happy about that, even if I'm a student myself. I dislike noise and partying, and I quite like living among 'regular' people. :P
I don't reallly Know but LOTS!

I only know Amsterdam and Rotterdam... :")
I Googled Groningen... I didn't pictured you were so close to Germany ! :-) (but it's normal, I've always sucked in Geography).
Lol... I hope you won't have too many "party" students arround you then... ^^

Well, it would take me slightly over two hours to get to Amsterdam. The Netherlands is quite small, so nothing is ever really far away, but still, it's not close. Most of the Dutch people living in the area near Amsterdam regard the north as uncivilized. :P But it has a lot of advantages to live here. Because it's so isolated, the city has everything you could possibly need within hand's reach. As we say around here, 'er gaat niets boven Groningen', which means 'there's nothing better than Groningen', but it also means 'there's nothing above Groningen', which is true, geographically speaking. :P

Yes, before I moved here a year ago, I used to live even closer to Germany, right next to the border.

It is. The city also has the youngest population on average in the Netherlands, because there are so many students here compared to the regular people. :P

Oh, that's super close by! That must be nice. You can buy things just over the border. :P Some stuff is cheaper in Germany than in the Netherlands, so it's nice if you can just peep across the border every once in a while and buy things there that are more expensive here. I don't know if that's also true for France/Belgium?
