moonshineshadow: Already played that for a bit. Couldn't really get into it, need to revisit it at a later point of time again.
It's not easy to get into for anyone, I think. I got as far as when super agents start showing up and randomly wreaking havoc on the player's base, then gave up.

My problem was more, that I got bored :D

-laughs- Yeah, it's very slow-paced, aside from when the aforementioned assholes show up to destroy everything. Then it gets very frantic, very fast.

Additional - I might have to turn in my imaginary old school gamer card for saying this, but holy frigging crap, I could seriously use some checkpoints rather than having to do 9/10ths of a level two dozen times.
There's a part I'm stuck on. Okay, fine, I'll figure it out. But I am so tired of doing all the other stuff, just to get to the point I'm trying to figure out.

Oh yeah. That gets annoying very fast. Even more fun if cutscenes and dialogues are happening and you can't skip them...

Indeed. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that. The characters do start complaining in-game as the deaths and restarts rack up, but that only takes a few seconds to get through.

Additional - Only two levels left. Finally got through the one I was stuck on.
Going to be very happy when I'm done with this.

Evil Genius is a great way to take out aggression on Agents that annoy you ;-)

CarrionCrow: Dust and A Story About My Uncle are also options. Played the first one a bit and liked it, and I ended up with the second after Colleen recommended it.
Did you play A Story About My Uncle? I don't know of anyone besides me who has. I'd toss in another recommendation for it.

Not yet, no. Will give it a shot once I clear my plate a bit more.
Good evening everyone *big exhausted hugs and waves*

Back from volleyball - exhausted but happy. How are you all doing?

Ixamyakxim: Hey neat GoG avatar glitch aside it LOOKS like you're trying to transform into a German submariner - am I seeing the tiny image in the reply correctly?
Well it's not a German submariner (it's him)- but that's my current avatar - although the forumsrefuse to accept that ;)

Gooooooooooooooood evening, lovely people of Fred!

I hope you are all having a good day, or at least a nice one? MY day at work went great, and I even got to have a nice picnic lucnh with my partner, which was a nice surprise for me. And the day was a lovely sunny day, which was just perfect for a picnic.

*big hugs, silly waves, beverage of your choice, and some cookies I made earlier (chocolate chip and cranberry, which turned out nicely)*

ZenWan: Hello dd, a very <happy to see you also Zenhug>. As you said, it's hard to keep up here, and I read that you haven't been welll - I hope that your recovery will be complete, even though it may seem to be taking a long time. Glad to read that you are taking it easy, and being spoiled by your partner, who sounds like a wonderful caring person. :-)

I was offline for a very long time, only recently come back to GoG and this thread. Moved house and country last year, it all took a long time and a lot of money, and it's not easy trying to start over, although kind friends have helped. Sadly the internet connection here is slow and very expensive, so I'm usually only around in the free night time session, which ends a few hours before most people are online. But luckily for me Crow is usually here, and often also superstande, so I do have friendly people to chat to. <big smile>

Hope you slept well, and wake refreshed and happy.
I am doing okay with my recovery, it is a long process sadly, but things seem to be on the up finally. And thank you, my partner is indeed a very wonderful and caring person, someone I am so very lucky to have.

I read about your move. I see you have moved to Africa, that must be very interesting? I know that Africa has some stunning landscapes and cultures. I am glad to hear that Crow and the others have been here for you to talk to during those free night time sessions.

I hope you have had a wonderful day, and that everything is going wonderfully for you?

You should stop all that smoking then you could breath more. :-)

They tasted quite nice as well, a nice chewy texture and the chocolate and fruit work well together.

Thank you. I am glad to hear you had a good day, and enjoyed some nice volleyball.

Hmmm, did I read wrong, or were we not supposed to get two old games today?

*big hug*

Good evening. =)

In the midst of calling this game the kinds of names that would get me ejected from polite society in about two seconds flat. That's about it here right now.

Well it's too late i guess - 18 years of passive smoking :)
But seriously...i'm just exhausted after i went to volleyball for the first time in nearly two months and it was great :D
Thanks - i really enjoyed it and it was a great fun :D
They changed the announcement on the Retroism site.

The first two games in the agreement will arrive on Good Old Games (GoG) on March 17th with Uprising: Join or Die and in late April, the sequel Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy.
*another big hug* :)
