Not a problem, just grabbed some.

Hopefully so. Would much rather things just go smoothly for you.

I'll pick it up eventually. Not worried about it right now. Already have more than enough games to play at the moment.

Also, before I forget, Colleen wanted me to pass along her message - she says hi to everyone. =)

FearfulSymmetry: Argh ... Excellent, just what I needed. Today some people showed up to disconnect us from water, gas and light because apparently our landlord hasn't paid the bills in months. Luckily we've not been disconnected just yet since the downstairs neighbors weren't home, so they couldn't get to the access point. Still, if our stupid **** of a landlord does not fix things soon we're screwed. And he has the gall to blame us because we don't bring him his letters anymore! Well, he hasn't lived here in two and a half years, so it's hardly our fault he never bothered to change his address. And of course, if he had even a teensy tinesy bit of common sense he'd know bills have to be paid every month ... But no, clearly it's our fault. Never mind that we've never caused any trouble for him and always pay our rent on time.

/rant
That is terrible. I hope he stops being a jerk and pays the bills so that you will not be cut off. And to blame you all is a just silly, as you said, he should know bills need to be paid and about redirecting mail.

*bog comforting hug*

Yeah. I'm pretty pissed off at him right now, especially as he's also trying to lay this on us even though it's clearly his task to pay the bills, considering that he's our landlord and that's precisely what we pay him rent for every month ... One of my housemates was in tears this morning out of sheer despair. Luckily the people who came to disconnect us felt sorry for us and were pretty lenient.

*thank you hug*

I would as well, but overall things do seem to be getting better. There are a few things that are not so good, but overall my health is getting there slowly. I am able to do a little more, even if it is not as much as I would like. Hopefully it will take a rapid turn soon and I can get back on my feet and start being more active.

I think we all do, but then I think we are all now victims of game hoarding. :-)

That is lovely of her. Be sure to say hello back.

And while I remember, have you ever played the game Blade of Darkness? I figured with your collection it would be possible that you have played it before, but if not no worries.

I can understand you being angry, you have every right to be angry at him, especially as it is all his fault. Will you be okay if they do cut everything off? It has been some time since I studies law (and even then it was UK law), but are they allowed to cut off the utilities if tenants are there and it is the fault of the landlord?

*even bigger hug and hoping it will be okay*

Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass quickly, and then politely shoves it back up there as punishment.

Oh, and hello Fearful.

That's just brilliant. Very sorry that your landlord is, to put it charitably, a fuckwit.

ddickinson: Some day, but I do still have my days like today when things are not looking so good. But I am sure it is nothing to worry about too much, just a bad day. Despite the little setbacks overall I seem to be slowly improving, which is great.
mm.. Slow improvement sounds like things are getting better!
Although the world may be "a bit" nuts, the medical science is advancing! ... Some day we may even be able to cure all the nutters, like Fearful's landlord :P

Also, the gog bear must have been hungry, it ate my previous reply :)

No, haven't played that one yet. I've seen people mention that it's good, just highly difficult, but no hands-on time with it.

Apparently they are. They said if things were not sorted out within the next few days they'd return with the bailiff and knock our door down if need be. Of course it's probably not legal to have us turn up for any costs, and our landlord might even owe us something to make up for it, but he doesn't care about any of that. And you can't complain about this man because he doesn't care about the law. If you get into a fight with him he changes your lock or breaks in to steal your iPad or something. That's the kind of jerk he is. So even though it's not legal he makes it so that you don't want to go up against him.

Thanks. *more hugs*

Hi Agent, are you okay?

Thanks. I wish I could give him a good punch but unfortunately that's out of the question. So all I can do is keep my fingers crossed this will get resolved. And harass him over the phone.

Yep, me too. I mean, I always knew he was an idiot, but I didn't think it would get this bad.

It is indeed, maybe a little slower than hoped, but still good.

No worries, thank you for the answer.

He sounds like a real jerk. Sorry to hear you have to put up with all that. I hope things will be okay and that you won't have to go without the utilities or have someone knock down your door. Sorry there is nothing I an really do to help, but I will keep my fingers crossed that you will be okay.

-shakes head- In a better world, that person would have the shit kicked out of them for putting you and your roommates through the unnecessary stress.

Yep, he is. So annoying that you're more or less forced to deal with types like him if you want to get a somewhat affordable room as a student. -__- Thanks for your sympathy, I appreciate it.

Yep. I just get really pissed off but apparently one of my housemates had a complete emotional breakdown. What a jerk he is.
