CarrionCrow: Good evening and congratulations. =)

Only 541 here, so I have a long way to go to catch up to your current level.

budejovice: Or about two good sales the way you and I do... :)
True. -laughs-

But, the more you get, the more odds stack up against you. I'm working towards 60 percent completion.
You, on the other hand, are past 85. The sales have to keep getting bigger to improve the odds, and GOG usually doesn't go past 100-135 a sale.

budejovice: Hi everyone in this thread. I hope everyone's well.

So, I just bought a game (World of Goo). And that was, according to my shelf, number 800. With the impending 3rd star due soon, look out for a nice 10 or so GOG game GA soon. :)
I'll be picking that up soon too, played the demo a long time ago and liked it a lot. ;-)

My going-crazy-here started about a year ago. It's pretty interesting how they choose their discounted titles. The big sales are offering less and less for me (other than the standard 50%), but these weeklies are still coming up with games that I don't yet have. I assume they spread around the sales throughout the catalog as much as possible. Of course there are exceptions a-plenty, but I do find it interesting that they are STILL coming up with promos that include discounts I can partake in. :)

EDIT: Part of it may be how I began life as a goglodyte. I didn't purchase anything that was Windows only until the tail end of Insomnia - and was up to a few hundred games by then. Perhaps skipping over Windows only games at the beginning has spread out the promo game availability for me.

CarrionCrow: Damn it....I love being old.

Frigging hands hurt from the controller and my right thumb doesn't want to work anymore.

And for some reason, there's a voice in my brain that wants me to rent Kane and Lynch, Kane and Lynch 2, and Final Fantasy 13.
It is now apparent that said voice hates me and wants me to suffer.
What are you, a whopping 40 or something? Wait a couple more decades. :-)

Everyone is old as they feel. There is no rush to wrap ourselves in wrappers (like a mummy) said egyptian before he was thrown in the snakepit for speaking his mind accidentally.

For me it started in full around the first Insomnia. Had about 12 games (including the freebies) before then.
Still playing catch-up, really.
The number rises slowly, but I'm wiping out more than what shows up, and I've picked over the catalog numerous times, so I don't think there's much more stuff I might want other than what's on the list. (For the time being, anyway.)

And with that, I'm off to bed. See y'all tomorrow. ;)

Yep, I am also curious about the sale, the last weeks my money was quite safe so perhaps it will change this week :D
Day is ok at the moment, nothing special, but that is a lot better than having a bad day ;-)
Hello everybody. Have been in the office for 2.5 hours, but only now internet connection came back...

Uh that sucks. Do you know what the problem was?

I'm not sure - somehow the network config was messed up. Only after I disconnected all routers and switches from power at the same time and then let them start anew the network came back. Or half-back, wireless is still not working - fortunately I've found a looong cable.
