hehe, I'm just kidding with our brilliant military history. Some people always prattle about how we kicked all the foreigners out at some point, forgetting conveniently how they just came back the week after and steamrolled us (like Caesar and the battle of the golden spurs).
In fact, the Dutch made nearly no real, earnest attempt to retake Belgium after our little revolution. Nothing of interest here, and who wants a Flemish Catholic minority in their country/kingdom in the first place? :p
Belgium is really quite a sad affair in all honesty... and I rofled when news came out we got the day 1 fossil of the day award at the recent climate conference in Paris. So much for patriotic feelings ;)
I must also confess to buying another 2 games on steam these last sales, ie Tachyon: the Fringe and Civ III, both for less than 2 euros. I feel like a terrible hypocrit right now. Can I get Redemption, Oh Empress Owl? :(
My case for my defense: Tachyon the Fringe is a cult clonelike of wing commander privateer, with a protagonist voiced by Bruce Campbell, and with CiV 3 my collection would be complete (except for the fifth installment); I even have the board game. I haven't bought a new game on steam since March...

Alright. Back to basics :D
1. Babylon 5 is one the best sci-fi series imho
2. One of the species in said series are called the [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centauri_(Babylon_5)]Centauri[/url] who are ruled by an emperor
3. On of the emperors had some of his opposition beheaded and stored their heads in a dark chamber
4. Shadow cabinet is that case a pun due to the "Shadow"
