Stilton: To continue the Grim Fandango query of earlier, I've been looking through the Community Discussions and its got FOUR pages of people having problems with the game. That's just ridiculous. Who needs the trouble? What a joke.

FearfulSymmetry: Hm, I got it a while ago and played through half of it before real life got into the way. I experienced no problems whatsoever. Then again, they might only start up in the second half, which I didn't get to. :P
Its a pity, as its one of those I haven't played and I'd like to see what its like, but the quantity of people having problems is putting me off. Are you using Windows 7?

It seems to be a case of chance as to whether it works or not. If your PC likes it you may well be OK, but if it doesn't...

Yep, Windows 7. I read about some of the issues as well but decided to just take a leap of faith when it was on sale the last time, as I had never played it before and really wanted to try it.

That was really passionate.:-)

I watched Tenchi Muyo years ago and I agree with you about the initial series quality compared to the one that followed.
I remember I really liked the show and when the new one was announced I got excited about it. But then I saw it and there was a feeling of something not quite right.

She reminded me of City Hunter, which reminded me of Tenchi. Which made me think "Hey, did they ever finish that thing?"

The funniest part. I already knew how it ended. but somehow I'd managed to forget how horrible it was.
And now I've been reminded of it.

An "evenigh" is what happens when people reply before I can edit my post ;-p

It was fun for the first few days, which is more than I can say for this sale on day 2. Got a little boring by the very end of the fall sale, then really boring once the winter sale started.
