CarrionCrow: Haven't ever played Braid. Have heard it mentioned about 50 times, but haven't played it.
No worries. All I ever have to do is think "Bethesda", and I see exactly how much hype plays into things. ;)
j0ekerr: Quite so, look at ESO. No worries. All I ever have to do is think "Bethesda", and I see exactly how much hype plays into things. ;)
Although to be fair, I enjoyed Fallout 3 inmensely even if I loathed Oblivion.
The VATS system made all the difference.
Braid is an interesting platformer puzzle with time manipulation mechanics. Where it fails, spectacularly so, is at the supposed storytelling. That, feels as if written by someone with thick plastic glasses, sipping a double latte in a starbucks while browsing on his macbook pro. The annoying part, is that some people buy fully into that bullshit part of the game and end up fanwanking some hidden meaning that they compare to a personal epiphany.
Too deep for you.
Spellforce hasn't particularly awed me either. So I think I'll hold.
In other news. Broken Age got its daily rather soon.
Good afternoon. =) Can't complain here, how's the day treating you?
