FearfulSymmetry: The Royal Trap is a good VN, I definitely enjoyed that. There are different relationship routes, though, and if you don't want to spoil the main mystery for yourself it's better to do certain routes first. That said, I think the creator has now made it impossible to start with the most spoilery route (not sure, I played it quite a while ago myself), so that should not be a problem. As for Loren: it's a decent visual novel with RPG elements. You can equip gear and you'll have to fight quite a few battles over the game. The writing is occasionally clunky and cheesy, but overall it's an enjoyable experience, and I definitely feel as though Winter Wolves is constantly improving.

toxicTom: Got them. And now I'm stuck with a lot of Steam keys I don't need... Someone interested?
Hi Tom :-)

Thanks for the generous offer, but Steam ain't ma thang. ;-)

EDIT: Likewise your earlier offer of Wasteland 1, Frank. Thank you for making it generally available, but I'll be getting Wasteland 2 at some point so a copy of 1 will be mine sooner or later :-)

Stilton: I can't say I blame it, but what worries me more is that it *(whispers)* seems to be thinking for itself...
Greetings Mighty Viking! ehm.. I mean Sir Mighty Frank!
Hmm... my guess is, as I have learned with my experience in artificial intelligences, when an AI becomes self-aware, they have a ravenous desire for knowledge... So my suggestion is, take your self-aware power supply with you on one of your Viking Sea Trips! Sail the High Seas together. And if it (he/she?) behaves, you might even consider a promotion to a first mate...?

toxicTom: Check chat :-)
Thank you very much. Also, my rental library no longer has a number that annoys me. Added bonus. =)

Hi Frank!

Fantastic advice!! (backs away quietly wondering what your mother put in those muffins...)

Don't know if you noticed above, but thank you for making your copy of Wasteland 1 available to one and all. I'll probably be getting WL2 at some point, so.....

How's your Saturday so far? You'll never guess what I'm doing...

I am a total slut when it comes to games and game sales.

I don't use that term in regards to people, but it fits pretty damn well as a self-description.

Hi, sorry... got carried away with gaming.
You are... with a beer and downloading your library?

Ah, yeah... no luck with w1... and the wishlists are still unavailable. My ninja troops are at the verge of seppukus here, gog, cut 'em som' slack, will ya?! :p

oh yeah... kinda been all over the place today: my brother is packing and moving to Japan soon after a job. I am having pizza again, and currently spending some "me time" (playing and relaxing) :)

well... me too :) except been lately so exhausted with trying to play many epic games that don't have the energy to create another character in another world, therefore less inclined to buy anything... at least anything epic :)

There are good games on the Play Store and App Store. You just have to pay for them.
BTW,*hugs for everybody*

That's totally understandable. Trying to play a lot of big games at once tends to spread a person's mind thin.
[Broken chat complaint of the day]
Gets a bit annoying trying to chat with lovely people when chat is constantly breaking and being an asshole. My apologies to anyone trying to talk to me. Hopefully we will be able to continue conversations another day when it is working better.
[/End complaint]

And with that, I wish everyone a good day. I need to continue preparing for a family get together starting in an hour or so. See everyone later!

My sorry...family stuff....

Damn, I've become predictable :-(

Which version of WL2 are you playing? The basic Director's Cut seems the best option to me. It looks pleasantly involving and good to look at. But maybe the Deluxe is better.

Its weird actually playing some of my games now. Forging ahead to get them downloaded is one thing, but spending some time playing something makes the whole process more bearable.

I should get the Ss (esses) done today...hopefully. Very hopefully...
So I joined a lord's army in the Brytenwalda mod for Mount & Blade Warband, not as a vassal or anything, but as a regular soldier. It seemed like a new fun way to play the game, and it is, unfortunately we got our rears handed to us in just our second battle and I got captured. Luckily I was able to escape with all my stuff, but still, that whole getting captured thing wasn't fun.

Hmm... esses? ... drawing a blank here :)

Until this morning I was playing the basic Wasteland 2 original... Then I got the DC classic edition.
There are things better and a few things worse, in my opinion with the director's cut.
The Deluxe has just extras outside the game, I think? If you are a big fan, sure why not! :)

They changed one of my favourite things in the dc: when you are trying to move stuff from one character to another who is too far, the original has the text explaining why you cannot move the item, and there are two boxes, "Shit!" and "Okay" (or something like that) ... I thought that was really funny... you can choose to click which box you like, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't make any difference :)

But there are nice visual changes like cool new light-effects... and hopefully the new perks thing will be lots of fun too.
Yay for triple-tasking. Tales From The Crypt on one side of the screen, Puzzle Quest on the other, and 13 gigs of Metro-related games downloading in the background.

I figured the classic edition was the one I'll go for. Having not played any of them before it seems to offer the best value for what I want. And it looks pretty, too (I'm easily pleased...) ;-)

Sounds like Halloween has started :-) I'll be loading up Frankenstein later - looking forward to that.

I might add the King Arthur Collection to my Metros when I nab them, because I clearly don't have enough to download already ;-)
