ddickinson: James Cameron? The guy who makes horrible movies? (Yeah, I went there :-p). I think you need a new hero. :-)
He doesn't only make bad movies. He explores the ocean and tries to save the environment too :-)

... Terminator 2 was awesome ):-|

Empress_Owl: **Big comforting hug too**

FearfulSymmetry: *big thank you hug* The unfortunate thing is that there's just so much stacked on top of each other ... Preparation for my dissertation, two literature courses, for each of which I will have to read at least a book a week, then I'm supposed to make my own edition of a text for another class, and finally it's also novel writing month ... which means that I have squeeze writing 50000 words in there somewhere as well. Eeeeeep.

Anyway, how are you doing, Owl? :)

Soccorro: Hallo peopel of ze thread

FearfulSymmetry: Hey, how are you?
Im good thanks! :) i guess youre stressed like no tomorrow?

Empress_Owl: @ DD : a new hero... what about david Bowie ? :-D
I think the hero has to be Canadian, so Mr Bowie is out. :-)

*more hugs*

FearfulSymmetry: *enormous thank you hug* I guess the main thing is trying not to think about it too much. :P

Yep, I'm doing fine. A bit tired, but as this is my last week of classes before the exam period I should be able to catch up on some rest next week. I'm also going on a study trip to another city in the Netherlands Wednesday, and I may be able to squeeze in some time to go to a big American bookstore. So that should be fun. :)

How are you doing, DD?
It sounds like you have some busy time ahead of you, which I guess is to be expected. A big bookstore sounds like fun.

I am doing okay, wasted much of the day chatting on here, but there is not much else for me to do as I am finding it hard to focus on things, so chatting is a nice way to pass the time until my partner comes home.

*lots more hugs*

Hi blob. *hugs*

Soccorro: Im good thanks! :) i guess youre stressed like no tomorrow?
... yeeeeeep. :P It was sort of the same situation when I was writing my bachelor's thesis. I got through that pretty okay although by the end I was so exhausted and overworked it was beginning to make me physically ill. But at least once this one is finished I'll probably never have to write a dissertation again. :P

The Terminator movies are full of so many plot holes. I prefer the first one over the second one. A bit like Aliens, number 2 is usually everyones favourite, but I prefer 1 and 3 over 2. I have not seen any Terminators after 2, so I am not sure if the newer ones were any better, but I doubt it with the way these things often go.

Nothing wrong with having a nice chat every once in a while. :) And we like seeing you on here too! *castle-sized hug*

I know, but I always feel like I have not got much done. I have, I have done some house work and other things, but still. I guess I am just a bit bored of being stuck at home not able to do the things I used to. :-(

Yes, that really sucks. Being more or less locked up inside your own house is not a good way to pass the time, and it's awful to be limited by your body. :(

Hmmm, perhaps we should throw another stripper party so you can have something to look at? ;) Although, who knows, that might bring more weird games to GOG ...

Hmmmm ... are there buildings larger than citadels? Maybe a *sky-scraper sized hug*? :)

It would not be so bad if I could play some fun games and read some nice books, but at the moment that are just not an option. I can manage a few slow paced games, but not for too long. And I would love to get stuck into a good book, but I really can't focus on it that well at the moment.

Give the strippers to Endre (especially if they are nurses), as I have a beautiful lady at home who I can look at all I want. ;-)

Well a citadel was a fortified city (or a smaller fort, depending on the ear). So height wise they are not always that big, but area wise they were. But a hug goes horizontal, like a citadel, not vertical like a sky-scraper. So would a sky-scraper hug be good, or uncomfortable? :-)

*big special hug*
*Big hugs* for new arrivals Fearful and Socco :-)

Of course they are full of plot holes! The entire series is based on a paradox. But the movies are still awesome :-D
Terminator 2 is my favourite action movie of all time, but I still really love the first movie. I have absolutely nothing good to say about the third movie, and I haven't seen the others.
Kinda the same for Alien. My favourite is the second, with the first close behind, and I didn't enjoy the third at all :-p
One must never make a sequel to a James Cameron movie, unless your name is James Cameron ;-)
[/in love with James Cameron]

How about audio books, would those work? Or would it be difficult to focus on them too? And yes, I can imagine you must be rather bored, I think I would be eating myself up as well. :(

Haha, fair enough. We'll scratch strippers off the entertainment list, then. :P

Hmm, then I might need to start handing out town-sized hugs. Or ocean-sized ones. :P This is a lot of thinking about hugs!

*simple but heartfelt hug* :)

How dare you have a different opinion on the internet! *grabs torches and pitchforks* :-)
I know many people prefer the second of each series, but they just never seemed as good to me. I guess they are more action packed, but they were also some of the worst stories and had a bunch of things that made no sense. But I better be quiet, those sci-fi nerds can be quite dangerous if you offend their favourite shows. :-)

I don't quite know what I think of audiobooks to be honest. It is never quite the same for me, so I tend to just read the book. But I can see where you are coming from, and I could see if I own any and give that a go.

You could always have some male strippers for you, Moon, Owl, and the other ladies. That way you can all have a nice time with some oiled up guys. :-)

*equator size hug* :-)
That always cracks me up XD

Let's start a war!! >:-O
When I was 9, I'd start a war if someone liked Star Trek instead of Star Wars. Because you cannot like both!! ;-)
That was back when there were only 3 unaltered Star Wars movies though :-p
