pimpmonkey2382.313: *hugs everyone* Back home, and with beer. :P

CarrionCrow: I just got back a bit ago with cigarettes and soda. It's good to be resupplied.
Tossing back a few and watching porky's. No matter how many times I watch that, I laugh like crazy.

Smoking and watching reviews of awful movies in between watching Botchamania, keeping an eye on the mafia thread, checking email and trying to decide which class to pick for Puzzle Quest.

And got the song, halloween by the misfits going.

At least we're both enjoying ourselves. =)

Looking forward to making fun of AMC's yearly "we've missed the point like champs, so we're doing a Halloween movie marathon where all the movies are censored to shit" event.

I definitely crank that song on Oct. 31. :) Damn fitting song for that day.

The stuff I like on Halloween is the same stuff I like the rest of the year. -laughs-

That makes two of us. lol

It's definitely my preferred time of year. Probably part of why I start foaming at the mouth when I see things like people advertising for end of the year bullshit before October's even halfway over.

That and horror movies, video games, horror punk music like misfits and samhain etc are my favorite genre.

Agreed. Horror movies are good, horror games tend to be some of the most interesting. With movies and games, even more so than just a genre, I like things that are different. I respect when people go out of their way to make something that hasn't been run into the ground a million times before.

That's why one of my favorite movies is the 1968 night of the living dead. Before that every horror movie had at least one of the main characters surviving. That movie had everyone getting killed, that was a "holy shit" moment for me.
So I took a chance and spent $10 on Witchblade, the TV series. I've been eyeing it for a long time and I'm a sucker for that 90s industrial/alt flavored stuff, so I thought "ah what the heck".

In true Wally World quality some of the folders inside the case are broken, one of the DVDs was loose, and some of the dvds look sorta scratched, nothing deep, but enough to be seen. Wonderful.

Maybe I should've bought Firefly instead.

I've gotten discs like that....and some ironically have became my favorites, like the anthology show called the veil hosted by and usually portraying a character, boris karloff.

That's when you take it back, talk to a department manager and hopefully get them to give a shit about their workers damaging the hell out of the merchandise.

Yeah, scratches don't always mean the disc is bad, assuming they're light scratches. Hopefully these'll be okay, I'll check in a bit. Where did you get that collection by chance?

Employees (including managers) caring at Wally World? Joke of the year right there! I'll check them out and if the DVDs are broken then I guess I will head back and see what can be done. I really avoid shopping there when I can but didn't have a choice this time and I really shouldn't have taken a chance on the DVDs there. They'll probably just swap it out with the other one that was on the shelf, which ironically I picked the one I bought because the case looked to be in better condition!
