*waves at everyone* How are you all doing today?

pimpmonkey2382.313: Hmm, why isn't my avatar changing?
It's been an issue with the forums for the last few weeks, I think. You can change it, but it may or may not actually pick that up in forum posts. Sometimes the change shows up in quoted posts but not initial posts, and sometimes not at all.

tl;dr: GOG forum. :P
Things are finally working here (on my end, at least), and I'm the only one around :-p

Good evening to anyone still hanging around...

Yep, but I have to admit it was not that bad on my side. The chat was not working at all, but the forum while being slow was still functioning.

ô__ô I suppose it would be a bit awkward... Kinda like saying "hi" while doing it :-p

Tallima: Worth a play for me b/c I like playing anything that's unique -- just to see if I like it.

Ixamyakxim: I think this is what drew me to it (along with liking the stealth / roguelike mechanics) but some of your impressions are what I was worried would happen for me as well. Thank you for the write up!

So, I need to be walked off the ledge here...

I'm considering buying Hunie Pop (or whatever it's called). Now before you stop speaking to me, hear me out.

This isn't a genre I'm a fan of (matching games) but I LOVED Puzzle Quest. Fantastic, amazing game that when I heard of it thought "What a stupid idea" - until I played it, at which point I couldn't believe how creative and brilliant the designers were.

So I look at a few screenshots for this one, and it sort of gives me that Puzzle Quest vibe - but I really dislike the premise and backdrop of the game. I feel like I'll need to shower after playing it. Is it that bad, or do I need someone to talk me out of this, stat?
I saw the PuzzleQuest-ness of it, too. But I'm with you. I don't need that kind of influence in my life. It's also, by what I'm seeing, not adult in any mature fashion. It's just icky-looking. So it's a no for me. Personally, I'd like it if they took it off the front page. I quit going to it at work b/c I didn't want peeps thinking I was porning it up at work.

Same here, but I tend to get very cranky when I have notifications but can't read them :-p
My mind always goes straight to the worst thing when I get a notification. I see the little red flag on the account tab, and I think "Oh no!! Was ElT brutally clubbed to death with a bowling pin? ',',,':-O"
I can be obsessive ;-p

Tallima:
LOL thanks for that! That was a general thread plea / request by the way, just in case you were wondering why it ended up tagged as a reply to you. I just happened to fold it into my thanks for your Sir,... write up.
Question for anyone here who has played Shadowrun: Dragonfall, do party members replenish their supplies on their own between missions?

I've had a spectacular run of bad luck in a mission, enemies are hitting 9/10 shots and at least half of them are criticals that do AP damage, and my party is doing it's good ol' 6/10 shots even at point blank range with few criticals technique. As it stands my main character is stuck at about 5 health and has used up their trauma kits but other party members have health kits galore. Trouble is, I don't want to have to waste all my cash on replacing those between missions because my main character really needs some armor and some decent spells.
