moonshineshadow: I also have a desktop pc. Always had one. So it is quite easy to replace the graphics card. After I got through the annoying part of looking for a suitable one :P
No I am not a morning person, I hate getting up early. But not really any choice ;-)
Stilton: It could be an opportunity to up the PC's specification, if you felt like it. A gradual improvement throughout would give it a better chance of living with modern games. I don't run anything with top end graphics, but it is nice to have amachine that can cope with most games. Nearly all of GOG's stuff is fairly undemanding, which is great.
If I win the lottery I'll send you enough money to retire and become a full time gamer - I don't like getting up early, either ;-)
Yeah, I would look into upgrading. One reason why I have not done anything yet. Not motivated enough to look for the parts. And also for a good distributor since there was no reason to buy any new parts yet since I came to Switzerland so I don't know any. And since the graphics card was still working most of the time the last months it was no problem. But seems like I am slowly reaching the point of no choice :D
But there would also be an advantage. I could play Witcher 3, my mum told me it was a lot of fun.
*big hug* Winning the lottery would surely be nice (not that I am playing). It is not like I don't like my job. Most of the time it is interesting, but yeah, getting up early can be a bit annoying.
And I need to get ready for work now. So see you later ;-)
