*big hug*

So how are you, are you doing anything fun today?

To be totally honest... I'm shaking uncontrollably. A few things on my mind, plus some random general feelings of impending doom. Doing a few dozen sudoku puzzles in an attempt to distract my silly brain. Could be better, but could certainly be worse, so... I'd say my colour is deep purple... :-p

I hope you are both up to something fun today! (and the rest o' ya's as well!)

Doing an awful job of being interactive on the thread, but I did manage to get hopelessly trapped in a pillow palace, then to finally escape and make some coffee. Covered my shoulders in pain rub and now I'm re-puppy-proofing the house for Sarge's return this evening. I've got records and chocolate wrappers scattered everywhere. :)

DD, I played a wee bit of Neverending Nightmares, but it didn't hold my interest for very long. Seemed like a horror-adventure puzzle game where you have to find ways to evade the "enemies" without being seen. Couldn't make sense of much more than that, and seemed to play at such a slow pace that I lost interest.

I was hoping you would be feeling a little better as the day went on. Do you want to talk about it? You know where my chat is if you do. Do you know what is causing the shaking? Have you considered seeing your doctor about it?

*big comforting hug*
Approaching the end of the Ds!

The weather's nice and autumnal and the washing up's nearly done. Oh, life's multitudinous joys!

Hello! *morning hug*

Neverending Nightmares was quite short, but it really was a strange game. I think I remember reading it has something to do with mental health, so I guess it would maybe make more sense to those players? But who knows. It was strange, and I did not really get much from it, but I guess some will like it. I do think it is a bit expensive given the short play time and given the game was not really that good for me. But maybe others will like it and understand it better.

The opposite happened unfortunately... but it's nothing to worry about. Happens from time to time. It's much better than it used to be. I assume the shaking is just a mental thing. Some "nervous energy"... a physical manifestation of anxiety that will hopefully pass quickly.
Thanks for the offer, I might take that up. *big thank you hug*

Going for a walk is the only way i can fight a panic attack, and that just distracts and tires me.
"Shaking and a feeling of impending doom" are my constant companions as well.
Didn't realize till last month that they are also the clinical definition of panic disorder.
Try to distract yourself till it passes, which it will.
My chat is always open also.

AgentBirdnest: Credit to the Dumbest Criminals for actually carrying out their plans though, even if they are stupid :-)
But absolutely zero credit to anyone who has anything to do with a "reality show" >__<
avatar
ddickinson: I can't really say I watch either. I had to thing really hard to even come up with Dumbest Criminals. :-)

avatar
j0ekerr: I recently googled worst TV show. Because at the time I couldn't remember Jerry Springer's name.

I was wrong, there's something worse.

The worst part is. You can't even laugh at their stupid obese redneck asses pulled straight out of deliverance. Because the bastards have somehow managed to monetize their horridness.
And that is a very cunning thing to do.
avatar
ddickinson: I saw adverts for that show. The strange thing about reality TV is that people who are horrible are making lots and lots of money from it all, as apparently people love that as it makes them feel superior watching such shows.

avatar
l0rdtr3k: Gonna read some mangas now.
I'm worried. My Onee-sama will be married this Saturday and I'm her best man.
I'm nervous.
avatar
ddickinson: What kind of wedding will it be? Do weddings in Brazil do anything unique?
It'll be a common wedding but I'm the best man só I'm nervous. Anyway, gonna hug you some more.*healing hug*

It may seem odd, but I find fast-paced games like racing games and shooters work strangely well at keeping panic attacks at bay. It seems the opposite would be true, that a calming game would be more help, and that something fast-paced would just push the stress in the wrong direction. But for whatever the reason, having something somewhat frantic but trivial to keep my attention on can be a great help. My chat's also always open, and I hope you find some relief!

Hmm, GOGbears seem to be eating my forum replies... will wait a minute before trying again, in case it shows up. Long story short, panic / anxiety issues are no fun at all, and my chat is always open as well. Not sure what's up with forums this morning, I just realized a reply I thought I posted earlier today isn't here either... oops.

I totally agree, and I would say even more. By watching said programme, they are empowering that same white trash they point to and laugh at, while ironically sinking to their same level.

I dunno brazilian ones, but gipsy weddings last 2 to 3 days.

The clean up is terrible.

Of course I worry. What is it lately with people telling me not to worry. *sighs*

I hope you will feel better soon. If you think of anything I can do to help, please let me know.

It is sad in some ways how people waste their lives watching less fortunate people just in order to make themselves feel better, while all the time the less fortunate person just gets rich. Strange times we are living in these days. Luckily I don't watch much TV, so I am safe from it all. :-)

I think I will say my goodbyes for the day. I have a few things I need to do before my partner gets home. I hope you all have a lovely day!

That's our thing in this thread. We all tell each other not to worry, but everyone does anyway. It's what makes this place so great. (That and the hugs, waffles, ninjas, coffee, and badges...) :-)

*more thank you hugs*
