EndreWhiteMane: How true, like putting extra chocolate on your ice cream. :-)
I have EU III Chronicles which is actually the complete complete version. ;)

On another note it appears the Twitch schedule is shot to hell again. :/

moonshineshadow: Uh ice cream... I want some.

Ahm... what were we talking about? A yes, it is seriously a bit misleading with the namings of these games with tons of DLCs.
What about the twitch thing? Didn't they change something with the shows not long ago?
They changed the scheduling all around but today there is nothing live and the schedule they show is still yesterdays.
I think they have a lot of sick streamers at the moment.

superstande: Agent, you are very welcome :)

Tetris... now there's a challenge!

i've been playing ROM, and it's so laid back I fell asleep playing it yesterday...

EndreWhiteMane: I'm very ready to buy that if you're still enjoying it.
Any bad things to say about it?
Hmmm... maybe combat. or that I haven't found any :) Well, played only a few hours.
There's lots of dialogue, and the humour is... hm... well... different :)
It's a bit like Shadowrun Returns, but for characters who avoid combat and do more like private eye stuff.
There's a robot who likes to talk a lot and is a bit... odd.
I guess if you are into something more serious and more... traditional sci-fi gaming, this might be a bit silly :)

oh yeah... it's only SR in the setting I mean... the actual gameplay is 2D and the player character is not even actually visible in the screen. So yeah. I'd be sure before buying it.
For me it just seemed like "Wow! I want to play this!"

Silly is my middle name, EndreSillyWhitemane. :-)
I assume the humo(u)r is rather 'Comic Book' so it would be a bit odd.
I think I'll give it a try sooner than later, Thanks. :-)

EndreWhiteMane: Have both eyelids up now so things are getting better by the minute. ;)
Your day decent so far?
Yeah, being able to see always helps. Beats running into crap.

Can't complain here. Pretty much awake, doing stuff around the house in between playing stuff.

Also, put a couple hours into Dex last night, so at least I got that ball rolling.

What do you think of it so far?
*hugs everyone* :p

Stilton: Good news :-) Now you can start buying dozens of games!
Please, no. No more. (>_<)

EndreWhiteMane: What do you think of it so far?
It has potential. What that potential will be exactly, I'm not certain.

I've already noticed some starting annoyances like inexplicably choppy cutscenes, obnoxious voice acting, boring melee combat, bullshit involving guys off-screen with guns shooting me before I can even see them, high starting game lethality in general and hard to spot environmental hazards like clouds of toxic gas you can barely see until they're chewing through your health.

I'll keep playing and mention more as I notice it.

Hjello, Sir!
*hugs*
I just started up a game and went to the options menu to look at/change the key bindings. Didn't have to change a single one. These developers know what the right keys are to play first-person shooters :-)

Hello there, how are you?

Uh... I always hate when developers think they know how a game needs to be played... If I read something like that before it becomes a game which gets on my ignore list.

What game? I'll be sure to avoid it!

The keys can be changed. I just didn't need to change them ;-)
I have a very specific set of favourite key bindings for first-person games. Crouch must be Ctrl, Shift to walk, Alt to sprint... Now, here is where it gets tricky - "F" is set to either "flashlight" or "change firing mode". However, if the game has both of those features, "change firing mode" wins the "F" key, and flashlight gets moved to "V". However², if the game has "nightvision", that gets bound to "V" instead. Finally, if a game has a flashlight, nightvision, and you can change firing modes on your weapon, then pluck that game because I can't remember that many keys without my brain exploding >__n

It's cool that the default bindings were a perfect match for my favourites though. That's only happened like twice before :-)

toxicTom: What game? I'll be sure to avoid it!
Mobile Forces.
The bindings can be changed, I just meant that I didn't have to because the defaults were already my personal favourites :-)

Ah then I misunderstood your post. Nice that they had exactly set the keys how you want them :-)
