CarrionCrow: Idly wondering how difficult it must be for some to engage in basic manners and pleasantries.

For a moment, I considered that maybe it's a language barrier for some. Even so, an effort could be put forth to say something of token substance, even if it's presented in a way that's unfamiliar.
Indeed. Ironically, Rep Grinders would probably earn more rep if they at least pretended like they wanted to be a part of this community. If you're gonna post then spend just one minute writing something with some length to it instead of spending ten seconds just saying "hi".

*big return hug* How has your day been so far?

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =) Enjoy the games, and sleep well when you get there.
Good evening. =)

From what I've seen or played, a suggestion would be to try the Eye of the Beholder pack if you find the second collection's graphics a bit too antiquated to get into. It might drive you up a wall, but those titles do have a much improved appearance over Pool of Radiance or Curse of the Azure Bonds.
No worries, to quote the Down-Under mates :-)

I'm old enough to have played the old Gold Box games in all their original glory, although only little of them. I had Champions of Krynn for C64 and the first Buck Rogers and Gateway to the Savage Frontier for Amiga (iirc). Also played EoB on Amiga.
Btw.: Rep grinders? Ain't that really tiresome and slow? Post once a day?

Has anyone played Eldritch? I have enough Steam Trading Cards Funny Money to pick it up there and am sitting on the fence.

moonshineshadow: I always wonder why rep grinders don't go and play in one of the forum games. No one would even notice they are grinding rep.... instead mindless spam *sigh*
Which then gets them downvoted, the exact opposite of their goal.

People are very silly.

In all likelihood, yes. But I guess some people want the least labor-intensive approach possible. (Since saying more than a single word is apparently a huge problem.)

You're fortunate. You got to play them when they were first around. Playing catch-up on those here. But, I did get to play Eye of the Beholder 1 on the Amiga like you did. That's what first got the game stuck in my head.

Good evenoon, everyone!

Grinding baffles me... How can people be so committed to it? Do they have a daily reminder? Sometimes I barely feel like coming in here to say hello to everyone, and that is something that I really enjoy doing. How do people have the energy to fake it? Coffee? :-p

no, but i have it on my wish list, which is absolutely no help to you whatsoever. I've heard good things, and it's based on lovecraft, so that's awesome. I'm probably gonna get it. It is $1.49 USD.

hello everyone, I hope this sunday is going well. I just got done working seven days in a row. So tired, but so happy to have a couple days off. :)

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

How was your day?
Hello Crow.
Day was quite nice - really relaxing and i just finished my Dualboot on the laptop (again) after i managed to mess up the installation some days ago....
What about your day?

Good evening Agent :)

Well they're working for a greater goal - apparently that is sufficient as motivation

That is a really good question. I don't know why they make so much effort for something like this.

No such thing as the cool group. Just decent people talking.

Good afternoon. =)

No idea. Once I got past my usual quietness shifting to saying pretty much whatever the hell I want, that was it.
The number on the side goes up or down, but doesn't matter so long as you aren't being such a shithead.

So, to say you're a bit exhausted would be an understatement. I know the cure for that...staying up all night until you start hallucinating! ;P

Still trying to get it all working. I applaud your patience. Would've wanted to throw something by now in your position.

Can't complain here. Quiet day, giving the roommates a hand as needed since they prepare for vacations like headless chickens. Think I'll play some more Hong Kong after it cools down so I can concentrate.

I guess so... Doesn't seem worth it to me. Maybe a couple months down the line they will be able to enter some giveaways that they have a pretty small chance of winning if the host doesn't check to see how active they are on the forums... Seems like a lot of work for a really slim chance at a reward to me.

i've been wanting to do that so badly, but forcing myself to go to bed early (work is at 7am), so even though i'm seeing pink elephants, I will probably be up late tonight playing games ;)

and hello! :)
