Oh wow. I never understand why some people buy all these gadgets. Most of the time it is just useless stuff. Just a waste of money. Perhaps they should start to think for a moment before buying stuff. I always tend to consider things three or four times before buying them. I had this cake plate on my list for three months now before I finally bought it :D

Yeah, I did not like that at all. I don't like going in blind. I had an idea of the general lay-out of the apartment but of course you can't tell the state it's in without seeing it. And while the building corporation is obligated to repair things that are broken, it doesn't mean that the place is also clean or complete. Apparently there wasn't even a floor in the apartment. Which is not the biggest deal, as I can get one, but I would have liked to judge for myself.

Yep, not too big on those either. I like spending time with my current housemates, but that's because they're nice people and it's always fun. Forced things? No thanks, especially not with people who didn't seem all that great to me.

Same. If I need something chopped or diced, I use a knife. If I need something cooked, I use a pan. It's not that hard.

Cake plates with lids are useful, both for storage and transport. The alternative of putting a plate over the top of a pizza plate doesn't work very well when you're trying to keep the finished product in good shape.

It's something I've seen used a few times to save space. Typically the items are hung over a kitchen island to prevent the aforementioned head smashing into things.

Well i only played some of them. One was okay but somewhat bland (but that's okay because it was the first one), the second was much better, they impoved a lot in it. Don't know about the other games until Black Flag which i loved - mostly because of the Pirate Theme though :). But i'm not really interested in the most recent ones. I don't hate the series but i'm disappointed about the development of it...

Haha yes. And these were not the kind of people you want to be influenced by. :P My gut was telling me 'no' pretty much straightaway, and usually it's best not to ignore that kind of feeling. I wanted to back out but my friend talked me out of it, but eventually the whole thing was resolved easily as they didn't pick me anyway.

Yeah, my friend who lives there hates them as well, but apparently she just plasters on a smile and sits through it for a few hours. The entire time I was there to supposedly get introduced they were mostly just arguing about the way the building was run currently. That, and petty arguments. The fact that the evening started with a discussion about a fight they had on Facebook was already a pretty big no to me. :P

Microsoft is what people are generally stuck with since they managed to get their claws into the market and squeeze for a long time. It'll take a while for the playing field to be even.

Started playing the first, but never got into it. And since it's a running story, I wasn't going to jump into later entries.

Sounds like a pretty good day! I did a lot of moving stuff around and driving in a way too hot car today, but at least everything is where it's supposed to be now. :P

Yeah, exactly, that didn't sit well with me either. I didn't back out because there still would have been an option to say no later, but I didn't like it at all. I'm glad it worked out this way because it's the least mess for everyone.
