moonshineshadow: Hmm... more D&D stuff.... not really excited about that. Of course this week was nice, because I will be able to try Eye of the Beholder, but I could have lived without it.
Bethesda, reminds me that I never finished my Morrowind Mod I was building :D But I just looked at the list of their games and this excites me even less than more D&D games. Yeah I'd probably buy Morrowind as digital Backup... but I have the disks, it is not like I really need it.
So I would be fine with "just" more LucasArts games :D There would be a chance for the missing Indy games. And I would not mind getting Full Throttle, because I never played that. But I read somewhere that the rights for that one are now at Doublefine... not sure if it is true.
And I don't mind, when I start playing them I'll post some impressions :D
CarrionCrow: Understandable. Figuring the age of the titles will be a hurdle. Still haven't started Wasteland 1 due to that. But to me, there's significance to having all of them back. Also not a fan of incomplete series, and I tend to pile them all together in mental inventory.
For Bethesda, the main thing would be the ability to purchase such titles as Wolfenstein and Doom. Not really a fan of Elder Scrolls, based on the two I either played or attempted to play, and I can't say I'm a fan of the new Fallout titles either, aside from a gut feeling that 4 might have some potential if they've taken the time to make it into something more than an overhyped loot management simulator.
Likewise. In the same boat as you for Full Throttle. I know of it, but never had a chance to play it, let alone own it.
If Double Fine has it, it could still show up since GOG works with them.
Thank you, looking forward to it. Pretty sure my screaming about making maps won't be too much of a bad influence on your response. ;)
Yeah I also tend to buy games to complete a series. That is why I bought Simon 3D. But for the D&D games there is nothing I need to buy for that reason :D
Which Elder Scrolls games did you play? Have to say that I never played Oblivion yet (it is in my big backlog). Skyrim was ok, but Morrowind was awesome :D Never played a Fallout game and since I am not interested in Shooters, there is nothing much of interest in the Bethesda games category.
In regards of Full Throttle, I read that it will get a remake as well as Day of the Tentacle, same as Grim Fandango. While I could understand it for Grim (since the controls of the original one were so bad, I never even finished it, since I could not continue at one place), there is absolutely no need for a remake of Day of the Tentacle. It is perfect as it is. No clue about Full Throttle, but remakes always are a risk.
And in regards of the maps. As I already said yesterday, I always have a graph paper block on my desk. I am prepared :D
moonshineshadow: Sorry, I did not listen, how many versions newer were they? :P
*hug*
That reminds me that I need to re-install my graphics drivers.
EndreWhiteMane: Yep, Neverwinter Nights used to run very slowly.
NOW, it doesn't run at all. That solves that problem. :-)
That is some advanced problem solving :D Good job ;-)
moonshineshadow: Sorry, I did not listen, how many versions newer were they? :P
*hug*
That reminds me that I need to re-install my graphics drivers.
l0rdtr3k: Sounds like someone wants to get hugged by me again.
And I'll not rerorerorero you because if I do it,You'll not hug me again.
*extra big hug* :-)
