CarrionCrow: Stupid, stupid game....if I manage to beat a level where every move requires split-second timing, and I do it perfectly, I want the goddamn voice to say perfect and mark the level as such!

I hate bugs.
And which relaxing game would this be? :-)

Wondering if I can reward myself this week's sobriety price already today... The Archive #2... yes... no... argh...

The game in question would be One Finger Death Punch. Probably the pound for pound hardest speed/reflex game I've ever played.

Ah, rage... I can recommend Goscurry :)

The video is probably starting with the second easiest (hard)... then there's pro, speedfreak and the best of all, paranoid :)
I love the game, but haven't played in a while...

I say go for it, a week is quite an accomplishment. ;)

Thinking something like this, only the person playing it isn't going for perfect every single round like I am.

I just stare at the trailer mumbling 'no f'ing way'. :-)

Aah... I'm starting to get the picture :)
Well I guess I'll call you Sensei Crow from now on? :)

Thanks! I'm leaning towards that choice :)
Just have to keep my resolve tomorrow... maybe gaming the AD&D will help :)

The difficulty level is adaptive, at least. If you lose, the speed decreases gradually, with a low-end base of 100 percent. If you win, it goes up to a maximum of 250 percent. What starts getting painful is when you run across things like multi-rounds where you have to clear a sequence of 15 enemies in 4 separate rounds and the speed goes up every time you clear one. Thinking that drives the speed up to around 300 percent on the last round.

That has a ring to it, but I'll stick with my preexisting title of Incorrigible Sadomasochist. ;)

So why are you torturing yourself again? There must be something on your list that is fun to play :P

Playing this one since I never cleared it and it's bugging me. Doesn't really count as a torture game, though. I've always had a soft spot for games that require thinking quickly. By the time my right hand stops wanting to work, I should have a character concept for Hong Kong as well, which is good. Already made one but they're bothering me so I think I'll scrap it and try something else.

And yesterday you wanted to create a character in an hour :P
