CarrionCrow: Maybe, maybe not. Wednesday's not a standard release day, but a game came out.

AgentBirdnest: Ho man... what's next? Cats and dogs living together? My head hurts >__<
That might be next. The mass hysteria part has been around for a while now, so it'd make sense.
Aaaaand the sun is back.
Feels very similar to this

cecil: Well just hope the Humble weekly is good since I pray for good weekend sales after the humble is usually crap...
Certainly wouldn't mind. If today isn't a release day for GOG, combined with seeing the sale a day early and nothing screaming out for me to buy it immediately, it's up to other stores to put something good out before I spend the last of my money.
Good morning or late night to some.
I didn't notice the 60,000 post, celebrations are in order, let us toast with the blood of our enemies or alternatively with a good beer, Guiness for me please.
That's a nice weekend promo to coincide with GamesCon. Although it is somewhat baffling that almost everything should be adventure games of the point & click variety.
Maybe I should get Primordia, what's it like?
I always seem to forget about the Humble Bundle which is good in a way because I already have far too many games I haven't played.

Good afternoon. =)

Alcohol does sound good. Might have to rummage around for some in a bit. Will find a beer to try shoving through the modem cord for you as well.

The event is in Germany, Daedalic is based out of Germany, they're an indie who does point and clicks, and so is Wadjet. Pretty sure that's how the whole theme links together.
I hate you guys.
Since you reminded me of it I went on to check the Humble Bundle site aside from the main bundles, which are rather disappointing, I checked everything and finally arrived at the mobile bundle. Warhammer games for Android to play on the phone? For a second there I was excited and then I actually took a long look at what was being offered.

it's almost like paying to be spit in the eye.
Good day, ladies and gentlemen!

How are you tall today? I see we have an early weekend sale. A very German sale (even though the evil German developers don't include German language with the games).

Mornoon, Jokes *tips helmet*
So, I'm assuming this Adventure games promo was already planned, and they threw the word "Gamescom" on it at the last moment, maybe to attract more views? Whatever, I'm not complaining. There are some great games (although I already have what I'm interested in.) I recommend all the Wadjet Eye games to anyone who likes point and click adventures. Blackwell if you prefer a great story, Resonance if puzzles are what matter most, they all have great atmosphere but I think Primordia really excels in that department.
I'm in the middle of Primordia right now (I'm guessing about halfway), and I'm really liking it. Has a great feel to it, like being stranded in a 1970's sci-fi movie. It reminds me a lot of Alien in particular. It makes me feel genuinely lonely sometimes, even when someone is playing with me. The story so far is interesting; I'm not even sure what my original objective was, because I'm more involved in learning the history of the planet at this point.
Puzzles are fun, and challenging without being too frustrating.
One criticism I have is that the main character is quite bland so far. I can't even remember his name right now. But, his sarcastic sidekick brings a good balance.
So far, I'd place it as my third favourite Wadjet Eye game (behind the entire Blackwell series, which I count as one game, and Resonance) and I'm not even done with it yet.

Ah - I guess Crow's explanation about the sale makes more sense ;-)

We still have complexes about certain things.

Mornoon, DD!

Going pretty well here. Finally had a good night of sleep, which was so lovely that complaining about anything just seems silly ;-)
How about yourself?

Luckily little America is here to rescue the sale with our epic collection of Wadjet Eye games B-|

Like being nice to your own people and given them the native language version? :-)

Good day, Mr Agent!

Glad to hear you got a good nights sleep (you get a badge for that). :-)

Do you see anything from the sale that catches your eye?

Last night I've been playing UQM HD. Nice new graphics, nice game. Those Slylandro probes are still very annoying though.

(For those who don't know, UQM [The Ur Quan Masters] is a freeware port of the classic game Star Control 2. I'm playing the "High Definition" version, so that I can have nicer graphics and visuals =)

That's if you're lucky. To me, that bundle has more of a "stiletto heel being violently ground into my groin while having money taken from my wallet" feel to it.

:-O A badge \o/ Hooooo... I miss our lovely artist :'-O'',',,'',',',

Nothing this week. I have all the Wadjet Eye games, and nothing else really catches me eye. Besides, my adventure game backlog is already so big. Possibly more than any other genre.

Good afternoon. =)

Just managed to beat the first section of Victor Vran that might make some people stop playing it in frustration, and it only took 8 tries...-shakes head-

How are you doing today?
