BillyMaysFan59: Of course UQM itself has been around for years. It's based on the source code for the 3DO port of the classic Star Control 2, which was made open in the early 2000's, I think. Ever since, the community has developed The Ur Quan Masters, basing it on the 3DO source. The original UQM just uses the original graphics, however they can be made to look smoother with a variety of scalers. UQM HD has new, higher resolution graphics, hires and visuals. That's what I'm playing right now.
WTF the next page of this thread got eaten again!
I will make a note of it and give it a look later.
The thread loves to eat the next page. I guess it's all the tasty topics we talk about. :-)
CarrionCrow: If you would call yourself a fan or enthusiast of action-RPG's, I'd say that you'd get your money's worth.
But, if you're not into playing games on hard mode, not into doing every optional challenge and don't like the idea of grinding for levels to help beat those optional challenges, you could probably live with waiting for it to hit its first price drop, at least.
Your brain and body are in upheaval at the moment. It's appropriate to feel all screwed up and loopy.
So probably not a game for me. :-)
I think I would not be so bothered if I was not showing signs similar to when I collapsed the first time few weeks ago. Hopefully it's just a bad few days and not anything more serious.
