Wow Trails in the sky has one hell of a final chapter. In terms of lenght at least :)
Did another session yesterday, was pretty sure I was completing the last of the last quests. But Alas, it was not to be so.

On the other news, only 18 people had to sleep it off in the can after AC/DC played their show and lots of people did some after-partying in the centre of the town.... So it all went pretty nicely.

Ixamyakxim: I've actually always wanted to give these games a shot. Now that the Warhammer "seal" is broken, I wonder if they'll end up here - you don't happen to recall their publisher do you?

CarrionCrow: The series is owned by Sega now. Cross your fingers but don't hold your breath.
I see - thanks. Your description is perfect for how I feel RE: the likelihood of a Sega game showing up here. Basically a perfect "maybe" - could it? Yes. Is it likely? Not a no, not a yes.

Also - I've NEVER watched a full SAW movie! About the only one I've watched was two guys in what looked like an old tiled gym. I hear this one has a perfect "twist" of an ending - I just haven't ever been able to watch one all the way through - or for more than about 30 minutes at a time. The guy in the one I watched for about 15 minutes or so had "AS YOU WISH!" from Princess Bride in it (Cary Ellwes - spelling?).

I remember watching Hostel and telling myself I'd be pissed if I left the theatre and it was another torture porn flick - it was another torture porn flick. I'm glad that genre fell out of fashion. Despite that, I've still always regretted, just a bit, missing the wonderful twist or two from the Saw films.

Please no one spoil them... just in case!!! ;)
Daily public service announcement: Watch out for pocket sand, especially around Rusty Shackleford.

Sega is one of those companies that I'd put in the same category as Square-Enix - they used to make good decisions at least some of the time, but these days? Not so much.

That would be the first one. Watched it a while ago.
Like I said, something that makes them endure to me is that they at least try to have a plot.
And not just a simple plot, but a larger one that goes well beyond the usual "hey look, it's a slasher movie, sit back and watch halfwitted teenagers get butchered by the invincible guy".

As for the Hostel thing, I wouldn't put it in the same category as the Saw movies because they actually have that plot.
There's violence and blood, of course, but there's a reason for it.

Hostel, on the other hand, was done by Eli Roth.
All anyone needs to know about Eli Roth is the movie Cabin Fever.
That set the tone for his career - idiotic dialogue, over the top violence in an attempt to get the "we're so edgy and extreme" award, characters you're begging to see get killed, the kind of crap you put on during a weekend when there's absolutely nothing else on because what the hell and still end up with a headache and a strong feeling that staring at a wall for two hours would've been a better use of your time.

Also, it bears mentioning that there's actual acting in the Saw movies. Some of it's good, some isn't, but at least people are trying to be more than obnoxious shitbags.

Thanks, although I'm not sure how long I'll be sticking with it, it's more of a placeholder than anything else.

Go with something brighter or if you want to be all goth about it just a black square is my unsolicited thoughts.

Didn't that goth trend die out some year ago? I haven''t seen them in ages...

Goth is very much still a thing, perhaps you're thinking of "emo" or "scene"?

Nah, I just see less goths in the streets.
I am capable of differing between emos, goths, lolitas, and metalheads without problems.
2-hour silence? At this time? Bah, let's get this thing moving, shall we?

Good morning, everyone! Hope everyone is doing well.

Everyone looking forward to today's release? Any guesses?

Yay \o/

*big good morning hug*
I hope you are doing absolutely fantastic and smiling from ear to ear today, Moon. (I'll just assume that you are, because my heart will break if it is anything less than that ;-)) Or, you know, "okay" isn't bad either of course. No pressure ;-)

*extra big return hug* How about we just assume that about each other, that should make us both happy :D
(or if you want to tell me how you are doing that is also fine)
