Vnlr: Good morning everyone!

Tomorrow morning the final exam, and it's gone, and I'm free! ;)

Next to studying a lot yesterday I managed to squeeze out two pieces; the third elegy of the meuse (not as good as the second one in my own opinion, but some easy eartertainment). And a piano duet in which I try to put the fire to the shins of the Belgians (the flemish in particular) - in a "friendly"ironic way, of course. ;)

And how are you all doing? Going to the efteling seems nice, anyone else here got big plans?
Hey Vnlr, good morning! Lucky guy! I'm halfway my exams too, tomorrow I have Religions! :)

That's great news!

I bet you can't wait to be free from it all. Hopefully all your hard work will pay off. I wish you the best of luck with your final exam, hopefully it will go great!

How are you today? I guess you will be spending the day studying, or at least you should be. :-)

Bring 'em the hurt I guess (I'm not much of a religulous person) ;p

I hope the ones you've made thus far went well?

Indeed I can't; everything thus far went very well, and I'm not expecting any unpleasant surprises tomorrow, but it pays to be prepared of course ;)

I'm doing very well. I went for a quick bit of bicycling, and of course I can't spend the morning without hopping in here and saying hello to all you wonderful people :D *big hug*

I'm going to start studying soonish though. I've had the past few days to prepare, and I try to study much throughout the year, but a final sprint now and then it's over ;)

Be sure to let us know how it went on, even if you won't actually get the results straight away. I bet you are looking forward to the summer, free from all the stress of your studies?

Glad to hear you are doing well. I guess the weather must be nice, given your bicycling. That's good. It's a nice clear day today here, but there is a very strong and very cold wind. I am just doing my rounds with the livestock and my fingers are a little numb. :-)

I believe we get the results in about two weeks's time after the last exams are done, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not too worried anyways; and a bit of un-stressing from school would be a very welcome thing indeed.

There is a strong cool wind here too. I planned the trip so that I had it in my back in the open areas and from the front in the covered forests so that it wouldn't be too much of a pain. but it is a bit frigid. I'm considering to go sit outside with a pullover and my legs in the sun though ;)

I hope the animals are doing well? What kind of stock do you keep, bovines, chickens, ... ?

edit: I've always been a bit fascinated by agriculture, considering it's the first thing we started doing after settling down from our nomadic lifestyles 8000 years ago (I'm baffled by big historical timescales and the mystical appeal of times long pat)

The animals are doing good, all fit and healthy. We keep quiet a range, we handle livestock and crops, which can be quite a handful. We have things like cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and lots of wild animals that treat the place like home. :-)

So why do you not have your wishlist up? I was going to gift you a little something to celebrate your final exam.

Hello and good morning people!
Been up just long enough to play with Sarge and the lady a bit this morning, about to put on some coffee. Just wanted to say good morning! I hope you're all doing well today!
A little morning music to get my day started right:

genkicolleen: Today was the first day of my new job, and it went GREAT! ^__^ Whilst I'm in training, I'm commuting 1.5 hours each way (three hours a day of driving? *faints*) but once I've been trained, it will be more like 25 minutes each way ^__^

It's been a long and busy day, so I'm off to bed~!
Great news! Three hours driving sounds like a great incentive to get trained as quickly as possible ;-)
Good Mornooning!

My wife's work commute (and mine too, when I was working, as we worked at the same place) is about an hour each way. It's a pain, but we decided when we found this house that it would be worth the drive to get to live a little outside of town in a quieter area. Plus, being a bit away from the city means much clearer skies at night, and lots more stars to appreciate. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed your first day, and that your commute will shrink once training is over!
