ddickinson: Be sure to let us know how it went on, even if you won't actually get the results straight away. I bet you are looking forward to the summer, free from all the stress of your studies?
Glad to hear you are doing well. I guess the weather must be nice, given your bicycling. That's good. It's a nice clear day today here, but there is a very strong and very cold wind. I am just doing my rounds with the livestock and my fingers are a little numb. :-)
I believe we get the results in about two weeks's time after the last exams are done, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not too worried anyways; and a bit of un-stressing from school would be a very welcome thing indeed.
There is a strong cool wind here too. I planned the trip so that I had it in my back in the open areas and from the front in the covered forests so that it wouldn't be too much of a pain. but it is a bit frigid. I'm considering to go sit outside with a pullover and my legs in the sun though ;)
I hope the animals are doing well? What kind of stock do you keep, bovines, chickens, ... ?
edit: I've always been a bit fascinated by agriculture, considering it's the first thing we started doing after settling down from our nomadic lifestyles 8000 years ago (I'm baffled by big historical timescales and the mystical appeal of times long pat)
