LaPtiteBete: Hey, Ghost, thanks a lot for this very interesting and complete review !!!
**Big thank you happy hug**
I'm really temptedd by Metro... the only thing that still makes me hesitate is that it needs you to explore the world to find filters, as you said ; I have a very bad sense of direction, in games as much as in real life... :-) ... I figure that we don't have much time to study a map in this kind of kicking-asses games... !
I bought Saints Row 2 & 3 ; haven't tried them yet... I wondered if they were very different from GTA (San Andreas)... :-)
Thanks again for your awesome and very useful reply !! \o/ +1 +1 +1 +1
Well, with Last Light, if you don't explore, you should be able to find a filter or new mask or two along the way, just enough to get through the level. And if you die, the automatic save places are well placed so that you can die a few times finding your way, or looking around a bit. **Big thank you happy hug**

There was one spot where I ran out of filter time (accidently exchanged filters too soon a couple times and didn't explore), and it was at the end of a level close to the end of the game and the save point was not far enough back, so I almost gave up, thinking that my character died before ending the story... :P (you do have access to the different missions if you want to start over on an earlier one). But, I just ran through the level as quickly as possible, made it to the end, and did finish! heh!
I have the GTA games (for the PS2). They were ok, if I remember right, San Andreas had the best story, and the Miami one had the best music. I didn't get SR2, maybe in another sale... Saints Row 3 was way more over-the-top in ridiculousness, in every way than those GTA games. Less music I think, and possibly a smaller world. It was easy to get lost in the sandbox of GTA games, and I can't remember ever finishing the stories of them either. heh!
