ddickinson: Yay! Endre is here! *big hello hug*

I have not seen much of you lately. I guess they have been keeping you locked away at work. Or maybe you have just been busy with your nurses, or all those women in bikinis now that summer is approaching. :-)

Have you had a nice day?
Hi DD, glad to see you, see my answer to EIT.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I'm OK after some rest today.
To be honest working every day has pretty much taken me to my limits physically and mentally.
Even if the hours are fairly short.
3 more days and I can go back to my old working once a week disabled self. :/
Certainly proves to me that I'm not just lazy and making excuses not to work. :-)
Well that doesn't sound too good. But atleast it'll be over soon....

ddickinson: I think Owl will wait until you are fully trained before she makes you a full fledged Owl. Perhaps if you are really good she will make you an honorary Owl. Then you get to wear an Owl hat over your helmet until she makes you a full Owl. :-)

LaPtiteBete: That's an awesome idea... (and an awesome crocheted hat !!! ^^) ... thank you, DD !!!

**Big happy feathery hug**
I'd be honoured to wave our white flag on the battlefield your majesty!

LaPtiteBete: Good evening, Endre !!!
I haven't seen you for a moment...
**Big owly bear hug**
How are you doing ??
Hi Little One!
Very,very tired but OK.

ddickinson: She does indeed, and she is great at them. We were actually given some massage oils a few days ago by my sister-in-law. I am sure they will come in handy after my week of hard work. :-)

Are they not called insane asylums in France? Here is a wiki link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_psychiatric_institutions

But cliches are fun. And don't try to deny the French do not have dirty minds. Just look at how your maids dress. Also, I was reading a few days ago that English has now passed French as the sexiest accent. :-)
I think you did already mention that she was great at massages :)
We call them "hôpitaux psychiatriques" rather than "asiles" (which sound more pejorative)... :-)
Alright, we have dirty minds, fine... I won't deny :-D and, what... you would have the sexiest accent ??..... we shall do a contest !!! >:-| I won't give up "my" sexiest accent title that easily !!... which will be our judge ?... Endre ? :-D
avatar
ElTerprise: Good evening *big hug*
I had a relaxing evening - watched some television after i returned from work at half nine - today the surveys were really exhausting :)
Glad to hear you have had a relaxing evening, even if it was short due to your exhausting day at work. Did you enjoy the work, despite it being exhausting?

avatar
Soccorro: Oh hey there DD! I had a nice day! and you?

By the way i have decided to join forces with the Empress Owl!

The Corps the Baguette stand ready! Give the command oh Empress and we shall surrender in thy name!
You say that like I did not know you would side with Owl. I already had you leaning to the dark side from the start. :-)

Hum... :-| doesn't sound very fun...
I hope you'll manage to get some needed rest, and relax...
How does it come that you suddenly had to work every day ?... :-|
**Big comforting hug**

Yes - still enjoying the work and i'm really positively surprised that most of the passengers are willing to participate in the surveys :)
avatar
ddickinson: As far as I know, Root Beer and Ginger Ale are two different drinks.
avatar
j0ekerr: They're both oldie-timey carbonated beverages.

New Vegas had sarsaparilla billboards all over the Mojave.
Root Beer is still very popular here and is flavored from the root of certain trees, dark brown and very sweet.
Ginger Ale is, as the name implies, flavored with Ginger, some more than others.
It can be obtained quite sweet or rather dry, The Schweppes you mention is a very good brand, to me however Vernors is better and far more 'gingery'. Quite popular here, amber in color, quite often the choice of non-drinkers to 'blend in' because of the color.

EndreWhiteMane: Hi DD, glad to see you, see my answer to EIT.
I was just reading your reply. Sorry to hear the extra work is taking it's toll. But I am glad that you will soon be able to relax a little more and get some well earned rest.

*big comforting feel better soon hug*

i am hoping they mean the regular English accent, not some of the more colourful regional accents like those spoken in Liverpool. I would not pay too much attention to the article, things like that are very subjective and change all the time. There has probably already been new surveys done that put French back up there, or maybe another language. But to be honest, if I had to choose between a French accent (as lovely as they are) and the kind of lovely posh English accent that my partner has, I would choose English any day. :-)

And I am too tired to fight it out, so how about we just let you have the sexiest accent title. I don't mind.

Owlsome !!!
But... we need to find more powerful weapons than your baguette. Even an old dry baguette won't do much damage... I think... :-p

Welp, FMD finished downloading ages ago. I should really pay more attention.
Reading Genshiken, the whole chapter is a HUGE lampshade.

I volunteered to cover for one of the bosses while she was on holiday.
I needed to 'test' myself and see if I could do it, which I can though it's hard.

That's good to hear. People often don't mind completing surveys as long as they are not been shoved down their throat or the person is rude. Hopefully you will keep enjoying it. Do you have more late evenings to look forward to at work?

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Because I am a gentleman I volunteered to cover for one of the bosses while she was on holiday.
I needed to 'test' myself and see if I could do it, which I can though it's hard.
I fixed that for you. :-)

That's... you're not objective at all. :-D
