AgentBirdnest: Nah, the teacher wasn't worried (he wasn't my teacher, but another class's teacher.) He was a total badass B-| ... A veteran of the Gulf War. He had a belt of 40mm grenades hanging on his wall (I
really hope they were deactivated ,'',,'',,',:-|)
Thanks for the reassuring hug. That means a lot to me :'-) **Extra big reassuring thank you hug**
Yeah, the chat kinda sucks... I miss PMs. I just sent you some info about the wishlists so I won't clutter the forum, I hope GOG didn't eat it ):-/
Right, you are not Queen of Jokes... You are Empress of Jokes! Get it right ;-D
A belt of grenades hanging on his wall ?... ,',',,',',,','8-| .... I don't find this "cool" at all... in fact, I'm afraid of any kind of weapons anyway... I totally disagree your Constitution on this point ; people shouldn't be allowed to own guns (or grenades...) in their homes ; that's so freaking dangerous !! :-\
You're very welcome !
**One more random happy hug !** I got your "PM" about wishlists, thanks !! :)
And... hey, wasn't it you that once told I was making lame jokes ?... );-| hum... !!
AgentBirdnest: Yeah... I hate the controls, it is buggy, and I just can't seem to "get into it" :-\ ... I wouldn't want to spoil too much here... but I'm not really enjoying it. The atmosphere is great, though (I always try to think of
one positive :-p)
...and don't stop complaining about the chat! If we complain enough, maybe someone will notice *crossing fingers* If you haven't already, vote for Tom's community wishlist item!
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/restore_the_old_pm_system Ha... Glad not to be the only one, then... :-| ... The atmosphere is nice, yes... I like the context too... the script, I don't know... I haven't gone very far for the moment... (?).
I've already signed this "petition" :) ... I doubt it will change anything, but at least we can tell what we thing about it... that's something ! :-)
GhostwriterDoF: I've never played through Deus Ex, only did a test run of it. Even though it is antiquated, it still seemed the action was good. You'll just have to get used to the gameplay (and the keys!) to be successful in the Deus Ex environment.
I usually don't have the patience to play the "stealth" games, since I'm usually pressed for game-time. And I'd rather go through levels with guns blazing than to sneak around, but sometimes a good stealth/survival experience is a nice change of pace. ;)
Omikron Nomad Soul is surely one I want to play through, but it is a very odd game, with unusual mechanics, almost like a whole bunch of different types of games all blended into it. heh!
Games that have their own or complicated key schemes will definitely require a focused attention without too many distractions to get through them successfully.
Yes... I didn't like the "stealth" parts in Nomad Soul very much either... not really my thing :-\ but it's a good game, yes :-) as you said, it mixes different types of games, which is nice, when it's well done...
And yes, maybe it just requires an amount of attention that I'm not ready/able to give at the moment (?)... hm...
