CarrionCrow: Noticing one good thing about Icewind EE - better ways to keep crap organized.
It's funny how things as simple as ammo belts that hold thousands of arrows, bolts and sling bullets and bags of holding that you can stash extra weapons and armor in can seriously improve the experience.
But it makes sense, since the original has a bad tendency of getting bogged down in a routine of "go to dungeon, fight and pillage for a while, run back to town when all inventory slots are full. spend 20-45 minutes sifting through everything, then go back to the dungeon again".
ElTerprise: So there are actually useful improvements in it - that's good :)
Oh and hello :)
Maybe it's a matter of expectations, but to me, Icewind EE is all about different ways to play the same game, if that makes sense.
They've put in more weapons, more armor, more items, more classes and class kits, a way to pick stuff up from dead enemies faster, some restrictions when it comes to playing an evil party which has pretty much turned this run I'm doing into an informal hard mode since the best healing stuff isn't available to me without paying gold for it, but the core game is all still the same so far.
From what I've read, there's a new quest maybe three-fourths of the way through the game, but the vast majority of it is the same in regards to plot, quests, progression, all that stuff.
Good evening to you, also. =)
