ddickinson: It was PETA who lied about the shearing the lamb thing. I just found the picture. I do not know why people even bother with PETA, I have heard so many stories of how they have not only allowed abuse, but often done it themselves. They just lie and manipulate while pretending to care. I dislike them so much.
Here is the picture, their lies on the right, the truth on the left. It makes me so angry that they would just lie like that, so much for them being an "ethical" group.

ddickinson: Good morning!
How are you today?
Vnlr: Well, today it's supposedly the day that Jesus went back to heaven, so out of old habbit all Belgians have a day of. Seems like the church has a single pro after all :)
It's called "Hemelvaart" in Dutch. litteraly "the going to heaven".
I've been rather busy, and I guess I will have some work to do...exams are looming on the horizon. And I have to prepare an essay we had to make and have to bring to the class oraly; But that'll work out fine, that was the one where I wanted to find out about the restoration of forests and natural life after the first world war ;)
ddickinson: I can understand that. In the UK we tend to have bank holidays on a Monday, and sometimes on a Friday, but not that often. I do not recall us ever having a bank holiday during the week. Not that I get a bank holiday with me working on a farm. :-)
It seems many of our regulars here are busy with their education. I wish you all the best with your studies, and hopefully when the exams come you will do great. The topic sounds very interesting, and one that is not often considered.
I had a quick look but don't like seeing stuff like that.
With J.D.it's just how foot in the mouth our Ministers are..
