Good morning everyone!! *many bear hugs*

It's a bank holiday in Belgium, so no school today (at least not in the sense of having to go to a lesson :p ).

Morning battle sister...burnt any anti-gogist heretics lately? ;)

Perhaps it has just been blown out of all proportion, you know how the media loves to do that.

I can imagine Depp getting all entitled and acting as though he should be allowed to do what he wants just because he is famous, then at some point the customs would have said that he can't bring them in and would have mentioned euthanasia, possibly just as an off the cuff remark or just being formal (such as listing Australian procedures, as many customs do around the world). Depp (or someone else with him or in the area), could have then just highlighted the euthanasia part to the media to put customs in a bad light. Sadly with the media today you have to take everything they say with a grain of salt.

How are you today, do you have anything nice planned for your bank holiday? Is it normal to have bank holidays on a thursday in Belgium?

Well, today it's supposedly the day that Jesus went back to heaven, so out of old habbit all Belgians have a day of. Seems like the church has a single pro after all :)

It's called "Hemelvaart" in Dutch. litteraly "the going to heaven".

I've been rather busy, and I guess I will have some work to do...exams are looming on the horizon. And I have to prepare an essay we had to make and have to bring to the class oraly; But that'll work out fine, that was the one where I wanted to find out about the restoration of forests and natural life after the first world war ;)
It was PETA who lied about the shearing the lamb thing. I just found the picture. I do not know why people even bother with PETA, I have heard so many stories of how they have not only allowed abuse, but often done it themselves. They just lie and manipulate while pretending to care. I dislike them so much.

Here is the picture, their lies on the right, the truth on the left. It makes me so angry that they would just lie like that, so much for them being an "ethical" group.

I can understand that. In the UK we tend to have bank holidays on a Monday, and sometimes on a Friday, but not that often. I do not recall us ever having a bank holiday during the week. Not that I get a bank holiday with me working on a farm. :-)

It seems many of our regulars here are busy with their education. I wish you all the best with your studies, and hopefully when the exams come you will do great. The topic sounds very interesting, and one that is not often considered.

Well obviously they have to be checked thouroughly, and obviously mr Depp isn't above the law.

Isolated (or priorly isolated) Ecosystems are really vulnerable to outside influence, perhaps more so than many people realise.

And I don't really mind the wording, or the government taking a stance if it's in these sorts of affairs. If they don't listen if you're being friendly and if strict laws are involved, then you're going to have to slap them arround a bit, preferably verbally, of course.

I had a quick look but don't like seeing stuff like that.
With J.D.it's just how foot in the mouth our Ministers are..

I wouldn't worry, I am pretty sure the PETA lamb is a fake, some imitation, and a poor one at that. But to be honest, I would not put it past such an evil group to actually do that to a real lamb just to spread their lies.

It does seem strange how Ministers are so anal in some things, often little things, but so slack in other areas that actually matter.

I'm fine and you? Ho's your shoulder? :(

Quite painful today. I have switched some things around so that today I can rest it as much as possible, but I still have quite a lot to do this afternoon, which will probably not do me any good as it's quite physical work, so that should be fun. :-)

Please get it looked at as soon as possible! :(

Nope! :-p

It will be fine, honestly. It is just a bit sore and swollen, it will be good as new in no time. I am made of pretty tough stuff, it would take more than a little knock to do any damage. :-)
Hehe, I'm going to have to start working for school now, dear ladies and gentlemen; Kind salutes to you all!

And the Dies irae is done, next to the cooking up of a tune :)

I'll add a few sample pages for the curious musicologists :p
