ElTerprise: Pretty good so far. Took some notes for the university paper and helped my sister with her installing linux on an old netbook (but only via telephone as she lives in Kiel).
How was your day so far?
My day has been go so far, very wet and cold again, but at least I am not covered in mud today. How was your day so far?
Yay! Endre is here!
*Big strong hug*
We missed you. Sorry to hear you are not very talkative today, I hope everything is okay?

ddickinson: It must be difficult not seeing your kids before you go to bed. I know that is one of the things that my brothers hate the most about working late. I try to take on as much as I can towards the end of the day, so that they can go home as early as they can and hopefully spend some time with their family before the kids need to be in bed. If it makes you feel any better, my regular day is 12+ hours, and when I am working longer like I am recently, then it can be anywhere from 14-20 hours a day.
Well I hope your day goes well, even if you are stuck at work, and hopefully a nice fun weekend will help make up for the long week of work.
*big hug*

12-20 hours... That's really tough. I guess I wouldn't qualify as farmer, I'd probably drop dead after a week...
Max I can take is about 14 hours a day in crunch-mode, for about two weeks, then I start feeling burnout and work speed gets slowed to almost a halt. But after 14 hours of writing code my brain feels like it's going to run out of my ears any moment...
I'll see what the weekend brings. My wife probably has to do a lot of work for her training programme and also she's writing job applications. Could be I have the children for most of the weekend. I hope we can squeeze in some time when we all four can do something nice together. The weather is changeable so we'll probably decide operationally what to do.

That's okay, just don't die near the pigs, they will eat anything. :-) 12-20 hours... That's really tough. I guess I wouldn't qualify as farmer, I'd probably drop dead after a week...

I hope you are able to spend some time with your wife and your kids over the weekend. What do you think you will do to keep your kids occupied?
moonshineshadow: Really incredible, we did not even need to actually talk about it, the idea alone was enough for Endre to come out of hiding :D
*Finished putting bikini on* What? You mean we don't have to mud wrestle now? *sighs* Okay, but after I ran all the way home to go get changed. :-)

EndreWhiteMane: Just fighting with some insurance stuff.
Be more talkative later when I get this sorted.
*hugs/handshakes/waves to all*
Do you need anyone talking out? Just give us the names and addresses and we will take care of them for you. No one messes with our little family and gets away with it. :-) Be more talkative later when I get this sorted.
*hugs/handshakes/waves to all*
I hope things will be sorted soon and that you can be your wonderful self again.
*Big comforting bikini hug before I get changed back into my work clothes*

Finally "finished" moving in to the new place. It's light years better than the previous apartment, with the biggest gain being an in-unit washer/dryer.
