But seriously, working on a farm is hard. My aunt has one and she's the one keeping tabs on crops,workers,quptas and such and my cousins help her with all the machinery and stuff.
Cowgirls are more at home in America, or on ranches. It is hard work, but it's very rewarding as well, and I wouldn't want to do anything else.

Hi ya, DD

Hello!

The weather has not been too bad at the moment, mainly sunny days these last few weeks, but we have had a few rainy days. Hopefully we will continue to have some good weather, but we have sheltered areas for the sheep to settle, so even if the weather should turn then they will be okay, although many tend to give birth out on the field anyway.

How are you today?

I remember several years ago coming home late one night in late winter and seeing a sheep giving birth in a field near the back road. Luckily, the farmer was out and about and I managed to attract his attention by flashing my car headlights.

It can be difficult keeping track of them, especially as they have a tendency to wonder off away from the flock during lambing. I check them as much as I can during the day. Usually they are fine giving birth by themselves, but a few do get in to complications, usually when the lamb is not positioned correctly.

I agree, what kind of furniture do you think would go well with the thread? We will need something big enough to seat us all on. But I guess if need be you could always sit on Endre's knee, I'm sure that would make his day. :-)

Good Morning, everybody!

It's a wonderful sunny day and I think I will plant my balcony instead of hanging out with you today.
But I'll return for the new bundles yesterday seemed quite nice, but nothing for me. I've tried out EU3 once and couldn't really get into it. Don't know what I'm supposed to do there :D

And yes, I'm totally looking forward to the weekend ; my Dad celebrates his 60 birthday plus his retirement... in a ballroom with the whole family !... it's gonna be fun !! ^^

ddickinson: I don't do boxing too often. I did it mainly while I was at university, but I stopped for quite some time. Recently I have been doing some kick boxing with a friend. Only for fun, nothing too serious. It's a lot of fun, and great for burning off energy and any frustration you might have. I am not that big on the kicking part, but it's an enjoyable way to spend a few hours now and then. I don't have a lot of free time at the moment, so it's been a few weeks since I was last able to do it.
Yeah, I can imagine it would be a great way to release stress and frustration. What you're doing sounds like fun! :)
