ElTerprise: And i'd like to add that dict.cc also offers idioms which i really like to use ;).
Interesting. So the RPGs are really educational after all :).
BTW: I always find it hilarious to talk/write/whatever with a fellow german or native german-speaker in english :).
LOL. Yes, games are very educational, and not just in terms of medieval weaponry ;-). I think I've learned most of my English trying to understand games and my favourite song's lyrics. Although at that age I missed a lot of... double meanings.
Actually it feels very strange for me to write German on a traditionally international site like GOG, that's why I gave the German section a try when it was introduced, but it has no real appeal for me. It feels... awkward.. to write in German.
I think in English most of the day, since I write code. All the keywords are English and so my code is English, methods, properties, even comments. I just like the harmony of having one standard language. I hate reading code with comments or even method names thrown in other languages, kind of spoils the purity good code should have.
I've set my Windows to English, install all applications in English (if possible) and only use German versions of games that are from Germany (like Gothic). I like a seamless experience working or playing on a computer.
Although I prefer metric units to imperial. :-)
