CarrionCrow: Have a good night, hope you can get some rest. =)

Already got into the whole "best customer based on money spent" thing in the thread for it.

Not going to get wrapped up in the endless quasi-game of feeling compelled to grab everything just so I can show off how big my GOG dick is. That's just a little more crazy than I want the experience of getting games to be.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I said that in pure jest. :-)
I am not impressed by rep or number of games owned, hell you know that.
They are both worth some lighthearted 'bragging points', that's all.
All in fun, they're just games after all. :-)
I know. =)

Thinking the whole thing has made me a bit cranky on the subject. Certainly not your doing.
Off to bed people.

See y'all!

Soccorro: I fucked up. A patient died because of me. It's my fault. the tubus i prepared was too small and i didn't know what happened. My head is aching. He became pale and he was bleeding out of his mouth. I'm sorry. I needed to get rid of all that.
I'm sorry to hear about that and hope you're feeling better in the meantime.

You chose to do a job where you do your best to save the lives of those dying without your help. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, but I'm convinced you always do your very best. And as you have to decide within a split second, there is no means in blaming yourself afterwards. This person would definitely have died without your help and you can't know would have survived with a bigger tubus.

I admire what you are doing and it's a job that I would be so scared of that I could never be in your position.

Furthermore, you might listen to GhostwriterDoF, who seems to be a wise person :)

GhostwriterDoF: Your first fatality? Don’t start blaming yourself. You didn't cause it, and It is unlikely that you hastened the death with the wrong sized tubes, especially with the sign of bleeding from the mouth, indicating internal hemorrhaging. You’re just there to stabilize and transport the people, and in worst case scenarios comfort them as much as you can in their last moments. All you can do is save the ones you can.

My roommate was a paramedic in South Central L.A., and saw everything from train versus people to gunshot victims, and had seen her share folks who died in their homes or held some in her arms whilst they were dying. But she also saved hundreds of people too, It’s part of the job.
I dunno, going through the past 4 months with my dad being back and forth between a hospital, rehab center, ad nauseum has taught me two things 1. A lot of medical professionals are fucking worthless and don't know an ass from an elbow .2. If the family isn't constantly involved in the process, asking questions, and making sure their loved one is being taken care of it is terrifyingly easy for a person to slip through the cracks.

Just two weeks ago, an aunt's sister's husband died in a hospital ER because he thought he was just having bad heartburn so that's what he told them. They didn't test him, didn't have him checked out...2 hours later he fucking died.

Good morning, Palio, and hi to everyone else who is reading. Thank you for your good and helpful post to Socorro. Socorro, try to be calm and be comforted by the wise words of the people here. I agree about Ghostwriter's words, that was also a good post.

We have some very kind people in this thread, I have a lot of +1's to give out - it's not much, but it's like a little stardust.

EndreWhiteMane: Hi Gunny, playing Darklands.
Don't understand a friggin' thing yet. :-)
Hello Endre,
Been a while since I played it,but feel free to ask questions anytime:-)
After spending the last five days key farming (and opening over 100 black lion chests) I got around to opening the thousand or so level defendant loot bags and out of one of them drops a precursor. It was only Venom, but hey first dropped pre. Got around to making my howler as well.

Congrats! I've given up hope as far as it's coming to ever find a precursor.
Good morning everyone!

*hugs and waves*

Nice. I gave up on trying to be lucky. Now waiting for the expansion to craft a precursor myself :D
