Oh my! Divinity II must be the longest game I have ever played! This Flames of Vengeance part 2 just started and I predict some many hours more to be consumed clickety-clicking.

JDelekto: Congratulations!
Thank you. Though I like the game, my fingers are starting to ache from all the hack'n'slashing :)
Oy! There's something to be said about that "muscle memory", just as long as you keep it to yourself and don't inflict it on others, you'll be fine.

ElTerprise: Maybe this tool might help. I had.Net Framework ssues installing Office 2010 on my reinstalled Windows and it helped me... but no guarantee...
avatar
Vnlr: well, I ran the cleanup tool. So all my .NET framework stuff is gone.
Now it still can't install a new version because "another installation is in progress". So I'm stuck without .NET pffff... ;)

I'm not blaming you or anything however, I'll pop open the task manager and see what's going on there.
Hi to everyone, hope you are sleeping - or gaming - well,
It's 4.30am and I'm halfway through my first mug of coffee. Started to read through the thread, and this post caught my eye.

Firstly, Hello to you, Vnlr, we haven't met before. I liked your choice of music, will play it a little later.

Glad to hear that you solved the problems you were having. If you do run into .NET problems again, here's a link to verify if your .NET installation is corrupted.

NET Framework Setup Verification Tool:

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Also, instead of using the rather primitive Task Manager, try Process Explorer:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb795533.aspx

It's way more powerful and a very useful little tool.

Thanks for the link you gave, ElT, I've saved it, as .NET errors do pop up from time to time.

Editing to say what a relief it was that post went through without any problems. GoG was really weird yesterday - I hope it's sorted out whatever the problem was - although it might just be because this is a quiet time on the site. I hope there won't be another day like yesterday. :-(

Looking for another post when I noticed a typo in this one. Off with its head, I hate typos. ;-)

Ragnarblackmane: Anyone have any idea what is going on with this bird-guy in this thread? I think he thinks I am a bot.

moonshineshadow: Just ignore him, he has been acting weird in that thread the whole time, not only in your direction but also attacking others without any reasons because of gifting and stuff.

See these two posts:

Hi Moon, Ragnar, Tyger - that thread is really strange.
Pity that GoG thinks it's a really great idea to reward those who have the most money, instead of finding a more creative award - but I guess they're a commercial company and that's how stuff like that works. The more you buy, the more important you are to them.
No point in me posting there, I'd be pounced on!

I remembered a strange exchange that took place in this thread, involving that person. Read the posts around here:

I'm quite used to talking to myself, in this thread and in R/L, but I think I'll take a break from it now. I'll try to stop by again later.

Hope you all have happy hours ahead of you.

Thanks, Palio, and good morning to you also. Sorry I missed you.

Coffee is good - it's always good here. No powdered stuff. ;-)
I just made some more - any takers?

Good morning to you - in your case very early in the morning.

Help yourself, coffee's still hot. All well here, how are things in your desert? Are you enjoying your solitude, furry companions aside?

Editing to say I see that you're still night-time, haven't reached morning yet. I hadn't checked Foxclocks, which keeps me up to date with all the time zones. You've a lot of hours to go yet....:-D

Can't complain too much here. The forum's working just in time for me to start getting tired (go figure), but at least it's working now.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't call it solitude with a house full of animals wondering where their owners/caregivers are. It's like being in a house with small 4-legged children.

About 7 and a half hours til dawn, morning's technically in about 7 minutes, and I'll probably be asleep long before the sun's up. -laughs-

Additional - Well, so much for staying awake. Time to get some sleep. Have a good night/day, everyone.
