CarrionCrow: Note to self - Make sure to not gift Adalia Total Annihilation in the near future. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)

Agree with you there, doing stuff like that and frying it properly makes all the difference.
You can put it all in an oven, but it doesn't come out the same at all. The flavor's not as good, the texture and color's not right.

Yeah, it's never easy finding someone in anything medical-related, whether it's for humans or animals.
Thankfully there's a great vet office in town. With dentists, I don't mind so much that the nearest one's an hour away.
Push comes to shove, you can scream like a lunatic going down the road to take your mind off your face rotting, but you don't want to put an animal through that kind of shit if they're hurting.
I'd tell you not to, but I'm sure it would only encourage you :P

Some things work in the oven, and we've got a method for making half decent chips / wedges in the oven, but battered fish has to be deep fried. And if you're going to fry the fish, you might as well fry the chips :)

I'd say I'm a little more fussy than that... I don't really have much trust for doctors (well, anyone) so I like them to know (or seem to know) what they're talking about.
The main thing I look for in a dentist is that they speak English well enough for me to understand. I went to an emergency dentist once who barely spoke a word of English and it really didn't give me confidence that I didn't understand what he was telling me about why I was in agony... Current dentist is a very nice Bulgarian lady who speaks great English and is also a pretty good dentist too, which is a nice bonus :)

HypersomniacLive: Ah, and I hoped the attached pic is of you rolling around the leaves doused in pancake syrup. May I ask what attire is required?
Eh, attire? It would be silly to wear clothes when you are saturated with pancake syrup whilst rolling around in the leaves. :P

HypersomniacLive: Whom are you going to fight? And are you the proud owner of those weapons?
Yes, just stuff collected over my first and second lives I’ve managed to hang onto. I actually have a few more guitars and basses but I hardly play them anymore, though I have been picking them up a bit recently.

I have a lot of swords and other ancient weapons from different cultures and eras that I used to train with (not so much anymore because of health issues, but I can still use most them to exercise with once in awhile if I take it easy). I even have some primitive stone and wood weapons/tools I’ve made as well. ;)

Good evening. =)

It's all sandstorms and playing nurse for a sick roommate at the moment.

How's your day been going?

-laughs- Yeah, probably. ;)

Right, if you're going to go that route for one, you might as well do the other. It's going to look and taste weird when you've got one perfectly crispy golden brown thing and the other is just this sad, pale looking pile of crap next to it.

For me, I go by demeanor more than anything, since I also tend to not trust doctors.
If I get the feeling they actually give a crap, then I can get past language barriers. I'd rather have someone who puts me at ease but I can only understand half of what they're saying than someone who speaks perfect English and puts out the vibe that I'm wasting their precious time by making them do their job.

I'm in for whatever suits you :-). And I believe in manly hugs, too ;-)

I had a fine day, despite a sore throat and bad case of slimy nose. I spent the morning mostly "getting to myself", meaning, meditating in turns. The afternoon I joined my got my younger from kindergarten and joined the older in school for Easter party. And after dinner we watched the children's favourite music videos from my HDD.

Hello Big Daddy!*hug*
From which game is your avatar?
Yay, unlocked another class and some more options in ToME :)
If anyone else is playing, or thinking of starting it, Bulwark seems to be one of the better classes to start with. Tough and can do a lot of damage, just got my first character to level 10 :)

And please see my edit above, I just was too fast with the submit button. I'm writing from the convertible of my wife and that freaking touchpad is hyper-sensitive.
