ddickinson: I know just the thing for a bad back, and it fits in nicely with all this talk of Ds. What you need is a good
rack. That would get your back straight in no time. :-)
EndreWhiteMane: Looks like something Crow might like when he can't decide which game to torture himself with. :-)
I think I'll pass on that one. The chair I sit in is bad enough already, I don't need to add to my "fun".
CarrionCrow: Crap. That's tech for you.
That
is pretty amazing, to be sure. One question, though - just how long will the shieldmaiden be willing to hang out the window before she says to hell with it and goes off to do something else? =)
Stilton: She's got the constitution of an ox and she likes a bit of fresh air, even at approaching midnight, so she's probably good for a few more hours yet ;-)
My advice - Don't mention the prospect of her spending half the night hanging out the window.
If for some reason you do mention it to her, make sure you've got your helmet on beforehand. ;)
EndreWhiteMane: I could if they matched but half the time I'll have version 2.3.0.11 and the game shelf will say just 2.3.0, GOG is very, very bad about this.
ddickinson: Is it still the case for the actual downloaded file? Could you add the file to the downloader and then when it is downloading check the file name against the one you have already. If it matched, you could cancel the download, if not then download the newer version. Sorry if this results in the same problem as you mentioned above, it's not something I have ever looked at before.
When I get confused about updates, new versions of installers, patches and all that, I shut the downloader option off, then load it up to check the specific numbers like you said. If the numbers are the same, I know I'm up to date.
