moonshineshadow: First I fried the sweet potato pieces and merguez pieces a bit together, then added the cayenne pepper for the last minute of frying. After that I added water, salt and the chickpeas and let it cook for ~15mins. (I had canned chickpeas so the short cooking was enough)

Feel free to test it, for me it it came on my list of "great food that does not need much time to make after work" :D

Didn't sound appealing until I looked up merguez, now it sounds yummy. I'll have to find a substitute for the chickpeas though. :-)

That's an appealing subject to the busy-me :D
It's very quiet in here...
Do you think there will be another big sale before the "spring" sale ? (which is... in April ? May ?...)
Not that I want to buy more games, eh... (**whistle**).

Not too good today.
My dad had to be hospitalized last night. It's pneumonia (again.)
I didn't sleep too well. I woke up feeling very nauseated. Just decided to sit at my computer to feel some sense of normality.

(And apparently I can't spell very well this morning :P)

No, nothing serious, I have a number of health issues so I have good days and not so good.
No big deal, I get through them and move on. :-)

I'm sorry to hear that, Agent. I hope he will be okay. I know how you must feel, my father had to go into hospital a few days ago (heart problems) and my mother had to go to hospital yesterday, after I found her collapsed on the floor. They are both still there and I'm not sure when they will be home, hopefully in a few days.

Let me offer you a big hug. * HUG!*

Best of luck to both of them, hope they get better very soon! Being in the hospital sucks, having to worry about those who are there is even worse. :/

Hope he gets better very soon, like I said to DD worrying about those in the hospital is worse than being there yourself.

He has so many health problems that it is hard to be surprised by anything.

I am always on holidays. Not working, not going to school, no life whatsoever. I'm what you might call a "leech" at the moment.

I hate this fucking town. (Sorry, I'm not mad at you guys... just venting frustration.)

Well, I hope you'll quick switch to good days again, so... I'm afraid there's nothing I can do or say to help you unfortunately :-\

Sh*t, DD :( I hope your parents will recover and can get back home soon... what about you, you hang in there ?... I hope you're not alone to handle this situation... :(

Thank you, hopefully a few days under observations and getting some rest will do them some good and they will be home sooner rather then later. My mother is often in and out of hospital, but this doesn't make it any easier, I still worry.

I'm okay, thank you. Sadly I'm used to my family having heath problems, especially my mother. I'm not alone though, thankfully I have a wonderful partner who is my guardian angel and has been there for me through so much. I also have my brothers, but they find it difficult to cope with some things and get too emotional. I'm just exhausted from all the worrying and having to work even harder on the farm to make up for my parents not being there, which also make the place kind of lonely.

Good morning :D Yep Merguez are very tasty. Of course if you are just frying them in a pan you need to be careful or your complete kitchen will be covered in red splatter :D
