EndreWhiteMane: Tiny, what's the weather like up there? 77 degrees (26° C) here today.
An 89° spread (50° C) in about just 3 weeks. Yikes.

Is it hot there? It sounds like you need to drink a lot of water and rest where it's nice and cool for a while.

tinyE: Hovering around 40 today but in the 20s tomorrow. The donkeys have started to show signs of shedding.

If you never seen 250 inches of snow melt at one time it's quite something to behold. XD
I have seen similar but not nearly that much. Thank the stars you have a place for it to go. :/
It's much warmer here, probably good you get a bit more gradual melt, our snow has been all gone for days.
Good afternoon/evening, everyone. =)

I hope you're all doing well, and that you'll improve quickly if you're feeling like crap for some reason.

Also, Logitech is definitely a go-to. I'm still in the process of beating the shit out of the keyboard and mouse I got with this computer, but once they both finally die, I'll be going right to a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo.
(Along with some rechargeable batteries and a good charger. Always forget to grab those, need to finally invest in one again.)

Get your free game this morning?

Nice. =) Good to know you're not freezing half to death today.

Looks like low 70's here for a few days, then it's going up to near 80.
Can't help but think I'm going to end up with serious weather whiplash and end up with 90 to 100 degrees every day for months as payback for having a non-shitty winter.

Didn't grab the game, actually didn't hear about the promo thing at all til that part of it was all over.
Not a problem, though. Picked that game up at some point I can't even remember.

Had an interesting thought a minute ago. During Summer, for 400 I could wipe out the 64 5.99 or less titles on my list, then wipe out another 40 items in the 9.99 range as well.
That would drop my list from 156 to 52 in one shot. Very, very tempting.

And I can't play ROtT.
Sure,my PC isn't a powerhouse but I can play DXHR and Advanced Warfighter 2 buttery smooth. Fucking onboard graphics card.

I feel a bit 'cheapskate' here, my wishlist is at $186.00 to wipe it out.
That's for 11 games at full price. :-)

Last year I updated my graphics card so I can play some newer games.
Problem is now some of the older games won't run so I didn't really gain anything. :-)

Here's the thing, though. You have that one quality that I seem to be lacking - restraint.
You chopped your wishlist just about in half, cost-wise.
On the other side of that coin, half a continent away from Restraint Land, out in the wild madness of List Frenzy, mine's stacked up at 1,763.44

You're definitely the more sane of the two, by far. =)

Granted, there's no way in hell I'm going to actually shell out almost 1,800 dollars for games when there are two to four sales a week, so a more realistic adjusted total for mine would be 587.81, a third of the overall retail price for everything.

There isn't enough time in my lifetime to play all the games I have, so I figure if I'm not get to play some at least I'm going to miss out on good ones. :-)

Edit: Actually my list is smaller than the wiki shows, syncing is borked at the moment.

I can't play it either.

I have a lot of these GAs I can't play.

Sure there is. 400 games as a rough projection of what you'll have when your list is clear, average 20 hours per, 8,000 hours, or 1,000 days of playing 8 hours a day.
It'd take you 2 years, 270 days to do it, but it is doable. ;)

And yeah, I noticed that GOGWiki's a bit out of its mind at the moment, since it says you have a whopping zero games on your shelf presently.

Both Barefoot Essentials and the games page are being worked on so it may be borked for a little while yet.

Okay, good to know, thank you. =)

Aside from the weather finally taking a break from trying to actively give you frostbite every time you leave the house, how's your day been going?

Pretty good, slept in a bit and now uninstalling things and moving them. Been taking a 'time-out' to play some things as I move them. :-)
Life treating you reasonably well today?

Sounds like fun, aside from the continued slog of data shifting.

Aside from falling off the nicotine wagon and feeling really silly engaging in mental self-flagellation while continuing to do what I know I shouldn't be, things aren't too bad.
Went to bed late, woke up early, felt like crap, went back to sleep for a while, ran some errands, now I'm just fiddling with numbers and list crap because dear gods, I kinda sorta really, really want the whole seemingly endless process of acquisition to end since I've been doing this shit for going on a year and a half now.

What then? A new list, or just stick with new stuff and sales?
