Stilton: Anyone getting forum problems? I just tried to reload a dozen times and got a bear with a large blue boil on its rear....
Yes, all day for me.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: It actually sounds more interesting/challenging than the vast amount of blood would indicate.
avatar
CarrionCrow: The blood's very much a statement, I think. To me, it's not about "wow, look at all that nifty blood!" as I'm playing it.

When it comes to interest, there are three things you can do - shoot, hit, or throw a hitting weapon to knock someone down, typically someone with a gun, so you can finish them off with an execution before they get back up and start trying to kill you again.

For standard styles, you've got loud and quiet. Melee attacks and silenced weapons are quiet. You can pick people off one or two at a time without alerting everyone.
Loud is, well, loud. Start firing a non-silenced gun and anyone nearby comes running, which can be good if you lure them all out for a slaughter, or bad if they surround you and blow you away before you can kill them all.
The masks are what really help to make the gameplay unique, since everyone will decide what they like best and then run with it.

As for challenge? Oh, it's definitely challenging. It's one hit and you die. And there seems to be a lot more enemies with guns in this one, so it's that much harder to get through.

This one is definitely more story-based than the previous entry, also. Have already played as multiple characters, and I'm looking forward to seeing how all the different perspectives tie together.
That'd all be great stuff to put in a review.

At times, yes. GOG's doing some file shifting as part of gearing up for Galaxy, unbundling games, and it's making the overall setup wonky right now.

My reviews tend to be what stands out most about a game, whether good or bad.

I'm explaining more since you seem to have some level of curiosity, so I'll explain to help you better decide if you want to buy it or not. =)

I have a HUGE backlog. I seem to be more of a collector than a player. :-)

Well I had better call it a night. Hopefully I will manage to get some decent sleep finally. But at least I have someone pretty to look at while I am trying to fall asleep, which is always better than counting sheep.

Goodnight everyone, thank you for the plesant company you have given me these last few days, it's been very much appreciated. I will return tomorrow to find some more victims to gift. :-)

Maybe someday when I try a few shooters that I have, at the moment it would be very bad for me. :-)
(Shooters DON'T relax me like they do some people.)

They don't do that with me, either. Shooters are supposed to be fast moving, kill or be killed bouts of spastic frenzy.

If I want calm, a turn-based RPG would do it, or something with a slow, steady pace like an adventure game.

-laughs- It's okay, everyone has those days. Also, there are a lot worse things to be in favor of than breasts.
Hi all...

I'm reading the thread... but my cat is dying in my arms.

I know.. silly me, reaching out to strangers.

I have no where else to go.

I'm so sorry :-(
My animals are my babies, and the loss of any of them would take a piece of my soul. Are you ok?

Don't be sorry. You cry your heart out as Pip has given you unconditional love and it is going to hurt to see Pip pass on. Love on Pip as much as you can and try to ease his passing. Over time the loss of Pip will be easier to bear, but for now you need to grieve. At the end of it all Pip knows your love and you know Pip's love and that is what matters.

I'm sorry you are having to experience this *HUG*

I promise that I kept my shit together all day (taught 3 classes, had 4 meetings... blah blah).

I didn't lose it until your post.

Thank you
