CarrionCrow: Hey, everyone. Good whichever to you all. =)

I completely screwed up on Hitman 2, to be sure. Was watching everything crawl along and crashed out at my desk.
When I woke up, its 50 copies were gone. Will make up for that one when I can.
Got to see Hitman 3 with its 450 copies, though. -shakes head-

But, since Moonshine is awesome, the problem's been solved anyway. =)

Also, if you all would be so kind as to pass some +1's Endre's way. I woke up to not one but two games from the weekend sale from him.

And while we're at it, if you could also do the same for Stilton, that would also be appreciated. He got me a game that wasn't even a part of Insomnia, just because.

Thank you, not just because I really like getting more games, but because you're good people in general regardless of the gift stuff. =)
Not a problem ;-)

I'm completely amazed by Moonshine coming through like that. We have some truly amazing people here.

adaliabooks: Evening all!

Back from work now. I see the luck and awesome gifting continues here :)

It looks like there will be two fresh games at a time after the seasoned ones go so that should speed everything up. It's been a nice little sale, I've got some good games and had a lot of fun waiting to see what would turn up next.. someday Divinity: Original Sin, someday!
Hi Adalia ;-)

Not only is there the fun of the sale, there's the calibre of some of the people here, too. (if that sounds cryptic, check back a couple of pages...)

The people here are indeed awesome :)
I've received a couple of very nice gifts during the sale too, which is always nice :)
It's rare to meet people so generous and giving, especially when at the end of the day we all barely know each other... you guys give me hope for humanity ;)
OK, chicken sandwich and some awesome cookies have made me very sleepy.
Going to go nap for a bit, see y'all a little later. :-)

CarrionCrow: That makes me think of Best Buy circa 1999 or 2000, when they had double packs of Fallout 1 and 2

Ixamyakxim: Yes I think I remember this one! The box was really long yes? Like if you took a normal plus side box, flipped it 90 degrees and stretched it out.
I don't remember the boxes being that nice for what I'm thinking of. It was bargain bin style/plastic jewel case-level stuff.
But what a time to have things like Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and frigging Planescape as "bargain items".

Good evening. Yeah, people here are pretty damned cool in general, not to mention exceedingly generous.

The sale definitely helped me cut a swath through the list. It's just a testament to my insanity that I'm already thinking of Summer. -laughs-

How did your day go overall? Did some people finally show up and make use of the high-end food-type goodies you were providing?

Happy snoozes.

It is to me. I wanted to stay up. Would've figured out some digital nook or cranny I still had some coin left in, but I fell asleep and nullified the whole thing.
The need to sleep is truly one of the biggest pains in the ass of the human condition, I think.

But yes, Moonshine came through like a champion and covered it, sale or not.

Not the best day ever, but not bad either. People did eventually come and buy, didn't get much warmer though.

I'm still hoping they do any kind of sale that puts D:OS within my price range... I'm probably going to be so disappointed when I actually get to play it XD

Enjoy your nap and sleep well. =)

I know, we have to be careful not to mention an game specifically or it might be gifted to us...

This is the only gaming community that I have seen where people actually feel bad if someone
missed out on a sale item or freebie. heh.

On a side note, I've managed to play through the second expansion, Extraction Point, for F.E.A.R. ,
now all I have to do is finish up Perseus Mandate and I can clear some disc space. :)

I was at 40hrs plus when I had to shut down early this morning, so I know what you mean. Even a couple of hefty mugs of coffee couldn't keep nature at bay. I'm like a large gazing animal - all that mass needs its bye-byes.

I know that feeling. When the caffeine, the loud music, trying to play a game to stimulate your brain, none of it works and you just crash.
And we definitely don't need this turning into "People Following Crow's Dumb Example and Ruining Their Backs" thread.
And now for something, completely different.

Things to do with marmite.

How do you eat it?

It looks like the primary use is as a spread on baked goods.

I've seen videos of it, that stuff has a consistency like tar.
