Amazing how such young boys can grow moustaches in France! For a moment I thought he was Hercule Poirot (he's Belgian, I know, but the moustache is similar)

Ok, I think the gog website is messing around with me...

It told me "Critical Hit" for Sir, you are being hunted but when I clicked to continue I got a gogbear -.- And when I tried again it was just telling me I could buy it...
Not fair... but at least it was only for a game I was trying to get a giftcode for :D

It is very up and down at the moment. I did an 'I wonder...' click on Dreamfall Chapters and got it free, which was nice, but other times that bear with the huge blue boil on its backside appears and then its a case of 'refresh' chasing to see if you can get what you want.

Dayum, that, has to be incredibly frustrating.

The thing is, that when you click on the buy now button it generates a unique random number, (you can see it in the url bar) and I'm pretty sure that's what the GOG Servers use for the critical hits. You lose that number, you lose the freebie.

At least it was not a game I really really wanted or else I would be quite angry. But like this I am only a tad annoyed that I did not end up with a giftcode. But maybe gog was trying to save me the time it would take to find a good home for it ;-)

I assume that might work, perhaps the server logs that number and links it to an account. That'd probably help against accidental gogbears.

Haven't tried it though.
